After a month of trying to get used to a new New York that's ever so slightly different, he ends up finding his footing: bartending at Sister Margaret's on the dayshift, and picking up the reins of Spider-Man at night.
Wade gets back from a job to find that there's a new annoying baby hero in town that's messing up his shit (boo!) and that the new bartender at Sister Margaret's is the hottest, funniest, most adorable hunk Wade ever did propose marriage to immediately.

He doesn’t want to dwell on why he’s telling Deadpool of all people. Surely it has nothing to do with his desperate lack of friends. MJ is in California chasing her dreams, Harry’s undergoing treatment for his mental health and isn’t allowed visitors (not that it matters since they blacklisted Peter after last time), and Gwen… Well.
And it’s not like he can talk to Aunt May without her worrying about him starving to death under a bridge or something so… Deadpool it is. Man, when did his life get this pathetic?

“I’d rather die,” Peter grits out after a few measured breaths.
It occurs to him that, before the compound, he never would have spoken to Deadpool like this. But Peter doesn’t care now. The soldier is a psychopath, Peter has seen it firsthand. Except, he hasn’t killed Peter. And now he needs Peter. It’s not a lot, but it’s enough to keep Peter from cowering.
OR
Peter and Deadpool keep an uneasy truce as they head to Killebrew Labs. The place the soldier has been trying to get to this whole time. Peter just wishes he knew why.

I saw a prompt somewhere about Fenris and Anders expecting sex the first time to be super rough, maybe even hatefucking but it turning into them being sweet and good to each other because of all of their issues. This is... Sort of a fill on that? Kind of? I feel like it transitions pretty early on into what this story is really about which is sweet, sweet lovemakin'.
Seriously, this may rot your teeth out a bit, enjoy.
