Summary
Vessel halts sharply, taking a deep breath that sounds crushing. III looks at him, sees his eyes tracking II’s movements as he comes a bit closer, unaware of their presence. III watches in fascination as Vessel moves closer to the edge of the forest, closer than he’s ever gone before while bringing III home.
He stays behind Vessel and sees the moment II notices Vessel. He half expects II to shoot off a fire spell at the Naga, startled by his appearance, but II does no such thing. III can see his eyes widening and he watches as II almost stumbles over himself to run toward the edge of the woods.
He’s never seen II this close to the woods.
III looks on in scared fascination as II and Vessel stand in front of each other, II wide-eyed, and Vessel still as a statue. Then Vessel slowly lifts a clawed hand and II does the same. They move to touch their hands together, but something ripples in the air, and II is blown back into the garden.
Or,
III gets lost in the Cursed Woods and meets Vessel, a Naga who once was a Prophet loved by all the Gods.

II simply stares out at the city outline. What comes out of his mouth next is more so him thinking out loud- but he also doesn’t stop himself. “You don’t call me pretty,” he says, quietly.
III, instead of asking have you lost your mind?! Or, what’s wrong with you, why would you say that? No, instead he stares back at him. “Do… Do you want me to call you pretty?”
II doesn’t answer that. “You never took me on a date. You take the other two. Not me,”

Two’s sticks bounce off of his drum pad, rhythmic, and he resists the urge to tap his foot in time.
Right left kick. Left right kick. Except he doesn’t kick, only flexes his foot to the beat, because Vessel is on the other side of the couch, long legs stretched over Two’s lap. So he’s keeping still, carefully so, in case it means that Vessel can manage another hour of precious sleep.

Smiling almost mischievously as he bites into his candy cane, Vessel steps back to let them both inside, and Three can finally make out the words. I’m Santa, it reads, in a comically large font.
Confusion furrows Three’s brow. “What’s the sweater about? Didya just get really into the holiday spirit this year, or what?”
Ves laughs, bright and sparkling, and tugs at the knit fabric. “You should see Two’s.”
