Kevin does not recognise Himself. Kevin feels perfect, feels more that just perfect. He does not want to see the old him in the new Him. The old him was grumpy, and resistant to change. Kevin is glad that him is gone.
This is the first time Kevin has looked in a mirror since StrexCorp came and cleaned up their sad little town. He thinks He's never felt more Himself—or maybe His brain moulded to his body rather than His body to His brain. Kevin doesn't remember how He felt before, not really, He just knows there was an unfixable disconnect between Himself and His appearance. He thinks that's gone now.

Summary
Cecil had never felt such an acute, unplaceable sense of unease—which was saying quite a bit, considering where he lived—but something about the presence of this vortex makes the hairs on the back of Cecil's arms prickle. Say do not like this. Not one bit. Despite the feeling of wrong that the portal emits, it calls to him. The unknown is always scarier than the truth, or something along those lines.
The spinning mass feels like void, and looks like it too, as Cecil inches towards it. It also feels like say is about to do something irreversible, like says life will never be the same. As he crosses through, he has the most disconcerting feeling—as if he's being switched out, or changed, or replaced in some other indescribable way.

Summary
Every nerve in Kevin's body is alight with pain—at least, that's what it feels like. She is doing everything in her power to resist whatever mind fuckery torture Strex is trying to enact on him, but she is only one person, and they seem to have a horribly refined system.
Her body is overcome with tremors, and it's a miracle and a half that he's still managing to string together a coherent set of thoughts. Even if they are mostly praying to whatever benevolent force may be left out there.

Summary
Cecil is drunk again. He is drunk and laying on his kitchen floor, which from this vantage looked like somewhere else completely. The ceiling is covered in static, which is probably because the void concentration in Cecil' apartment has been completely out of whack.
Cecil is trying to find patterns in the static. Squares and triangles, and even a face with no eyes—or maybe zee's started hallucinating. It's all a bit fuzzy right now.

Summary
Temporal displacements at the radio station were nothing special. Interns saw their dead siblings, or parents, or pets all the time. Sometimes you could faintly hear a conversation down the hallway that happened years ago—or hadn't happened at all.
Kevin's broadcasting equipment was old, and therefore more predisposed to such phenomena, so when it once again started giving him feedback from other times, he was not worried.
"Sorry, listeners! Oh! This wire looks a little loose—I'll just wiggle it a bit…" Kevin says, doing exactly as she narrates. The wire shifts, and suddenly there's another voice.

When the fainting spells started in college, he did everything in his power to get them to stop. And it worked, for a time. Then when he moved to Night Vale, with it's heat and sun and dry weather, they started again.
As a man of science, Carlos tries to explain it. Solve it. He knows what is wrong, on some level. On another level, he doesn't want to admit to himself what the problem is.

Carlos leans heavily against the wall, an arm curled around his stomach. He hears the vague sounds of a fight in the adjacent hall. Carlos screws his eyes shut and ignores the bangs and inhuman screeches coming from that direction.
He feels nauseous. No, not just nauseous. Like something inside of him has been taken out and put back in wrong. Carlos isn't sure if that is metaphorical or not, and he doesn't feel like finding out. He lets himself slide slowly down the wall into a sitting position and rests his head between his knees.

Kevin's eyes—or at least, the two that still work—try to look, to see where the voice is coming from. The voice, no longer just a voice, steps around the chair that Kevin is currently bound to, and grabs his face, forcing his chin up, exposing his neck.
Kevin tries to jerk vaer head back, but their grip holds steadfast. "Fuck you."
"Oh Kevin," They sigh, and it sounds affectionate as they do. "It's okay! You'll feel plenty better once you've gotten all this unproductive energy out of your system. And everyone here is happy to help you do so!"

Sie was fine, honestly—a little tired, maybe—until Donovan had said, "I bet birds have mind control powers" whilst they were watching a documentary. Kevin had choked out a laugh, excused Himself, and immediately fell into a full-blown panic attack as soon as the bathroom door was shut.
It was stupid, Kevin knew, to be panicking over something a five-year-old said. Five-year-olds weren't exactly known for being the most socially knowledgeable, Donovan hadn't meant anything when he'd said that—he was just five, after all.

Summary
Somewhere far away, The Voice was aware of words spilling from it's lips. It couldn't stop speaking, narrating hys (hys? was it really hym? what was "hym?") undoing. It's eye, always seeing (always seeing.), saw pasts, futures, and presents, none of which made sense, none of which had happened. (or did they? how was hy so sure what had really happened?)
Even when The Voice Knew (it always Knew) the broadcast (why was there a broadcast?) had ended, it spoke. Now, rather than to a town unseen (unseen by whom?), it spoke to a universe vast and uncaring.
