John had felt on edge ever since, his bed felt as though it were ice with how cold it'd become without Hamilton's presence, perhaps colder with his return to be never. No. Hamilton had survived escaping the ambush at Schuylkill, if his obstinacy could exceed death herself then, then illness could never be the fatal hands of his doom — Or at least, that is what Laurens filled his head with as pathetic consolation.
(Or; Hamilton has fallen ill while out in Albany, the camp panics if they'll ever see their dear friend once more.)

[March, 1778]
"R-Right, uh, Baron Von Steuben is hosting a party of sorts. You and Hamilton are some of the very few invited." Pierre is swift in looking at the distance without much focus as to what specifically, but rather to avoid the sight of the other bashfully. Though his hand arises to reveal a letter in his fidgeting palm, pointing it in Laurens' direction for the taking.
"Of sorts? Who else is invited?" He takes the letter briefly examining it, but to his disappointment, it is just parchment folded and sealed with wax. Lacking any proper mailing acquisitions like the owner, address, or person to gift it to. Though John supposes it wouldn't be needed if Pierre was assigned to give them out to a select few. It still unnerved him.
"If you attend, you will see,"

Washington had ridden out with a few men to go and greet Von Steuben before his official entry. When he had returned, he was in a knot of emotions that he hadn't quite properly correlated to the aides despite their queries — Whatever had left the general so mystified was unbeknownst to them all, but they hadn't prodded further when he lastly didn't even acknowledge one of their questions. Afterward, they'd decided it must have just been a long day. Though Hamilton and Laurens remained weary of the man all the same.
(Or; the gay man finally arrives, bringing hopes and worries for Laurens and hamilton)

Summary
Though born illegitimate, a bastard of a "whores" son, Alexander Faucette finds his life in a upturn when his unknown father, a man by the name of George Washington, adopts him after the passing of his mother.
The ambitious young man craves the taste of battlefield and glory. but without his parents consent to join the revolution besides his father and brother, he runs away and goes by the name of his previous father, Hamilton. Although when quickly caught by General Washington, the father and son undergo a truce and Alexander may remain in the army by the name of Hamilton, if only to toil behind the desk of Washington's.

Summary
Captain Alexander Hamilton is a pirate.
Known throughout the seas for his ruthlessness towards the British, the 22-year-old is on top of the King’s wanted dead or alive list.
His heart is closed off from all except a few people and that won't change.Captain John Laurens has a quite simple mission:
Capture Alexander Hamilton and bring him to his British superiors ALIVE.
He didn't expect the rakish Captain to be quite so handsome. He DEFINETELY didn't expect to be captured.
But he WILL escape, and (illegal) attraction or not, Hamilton will be captured.When a freak storm leaves both crews stranded on a tropical island and forces them to work together, the two captains must set aside their differences to survive. An uneasy alliance turns into a tentative friendship, and they find between themselves a sizzling attraction that neither can easily ignore.
There's a problem.
Actually, there are many problems.
Laurens was sent to capture Hamilton and take him to the crown to be hung.
Even if they manage to survive and escape, Laurens has a duty to uphold.
