Name: Damian Wayne
Assignment: Write a poem about a color without using the colors name. The poem must rhyme the entire time to at a minimum of 35 lines or time given until the end of class to complete assignment if no extra work is required of you.Damian considered this unit on poetry child's play and would rather kill everyone and then himself then admit he was enjoying it quiet. It was the easiest most enjoyable A's he had gotten in a while. He was already his English teacher's favorite, but he blossomed even more under this. This assignment however might just end it all. Because how was he meant to rhyme for 34 more lines after he couldn't even figure out what to write the next one was already googling what rhymes with the last word, he wrote. He loves the color green but to talk about it without using the name or any others? Insane. Shelly was excited to read Damian's assignment at the end of class as he was the only one who took things seriously and flourished really. Heck, she had good conversations with the boy and made her think and she had her PhD. But when reviewing the work, she quickly noticed how off the rails it had gotten by the end even if he had successfully done more than the bare minimum.

Summary
After Alfred’s death Damian’s relationships with other members of the Bat family die. Damian comes to the realization that the only one that really cared about him was Alfred. With Alfred gone and the blame of his death sitting on Damian’s shoulders, Damian's run as Robin is gone.
Damian is fine with this.
As long as he gets out of this family that hates him.
But do they really hate him? Does the Bat family know what they have done to their youngest member?
A/N: Also known as me whining about the process of getting into college(s)/dual credit programs in the State of Texas while having had my life completely turned upside down due to personal events so I threw all of my problems onto Damian to make him suffer with me. “I swear to God,” Tim said, climbing through the window and landing gracefully into the living room, “how much money do I have to pay you to rest and wait and not cook at the ungodly hour of two in the morning?”
He removed his mask and unfastened his cape and utility belt, ignoring the way his stomach grumbled right after he uttered those words out loud. From the kitchen his boyfriend laughed, cutting through the loud sizzling of the pan. “Welcome back. And for the 30th time, no amount of money will ever stop me from cooking for you. Besides, I like working in the kitchen at any hour, except when I need to be held back in school. In that case, getting a batburger is completely acceptable.”
Tim sighed, tossing his shoes on the rack near the door and trudging into the kitchen. Bernard smiled at him, flipping over what looked like chicken with the metal tongs, the smell making his mouth almost water. Considering the last thing he ate was a salad he haphazardly threw together with pumpkin seeds to give it a crunch and a boiled egg right before patrol–which had been roughly five hours ago–no wonder he felt like he could float to heaven right about now.

God, Tim didn’t know how to feel about all this. He loved Bernard so much, but what other choice did he have? Confronting him was out of the question and the thought alone made Tim’s stomach turn.
Still tuning everyone else out as he stared down at his clasped hands, Tim came to a decision. If it really came down to it, if this really was what Bernard was doing, what he wanted, then he’d keep quiet. If it means he gets to keep him, then he’ll play along.
As long as he wants Tim, then Tim will let him have Red Robin too.
Or: Bernard knows Tim is Red Robin. Tim doesn’t know that. When Bernard starts to flirt with Red Robin, Tim finds himself keeping quiet.

Damian scoffs at him. “It’s hardly an abyss, I can see the building's rumble below and some of the broken infrastructure at the bottom -”
“Wow, you’re so not helping your case.”
(Or the one where their patrol night goes to shit and Tim has a really stubborn little brother that apparently wants to die again just because he's stubborn as fuck. Sucks for Damian, though, because Tim is used to doing the exact opposite of what Damian wants just to spite him. Like a good big brother.)
