Summary
“Satisfied?” Light grumbles into the phone, shutting his laptop with a soft click, and padding his way over to his bathroom. As he stands, L’s gentle voice crackles over the speaker.
“No, never.”
“Predictable,” he sneers, running his toothbrush under the tap water, “So, then, what would keep you satisfied? If anything.”
There’s shuffling on L’s end, before he says, fluid, like a paintbrush over wood, all too easy, like it’s the easiest thing in the world, “You.”
The Kira case wanes in 2004, and eventually goes cold. L departs from Japan, and five years go by. Until, one night in 2009, L tells Light that the Kira case is being reopened, and L wants to help acquit him before he is inevitably caught. But, like always, there is a catch that comes with L's favour, and now Light is stuck playing teacher in a house full of genius orphans while mending the rift that had blossomed between himself and L.

Summary
In his first life, L died in the arms of his greatest enemy.
In his brief second one, he died alone.
And in his third, too-long life, L died anticipating finally getting even with the man who'd won their game one too many times.
And Light Yagami? If he'd known this is what picking up the Death Note would bring....well, he'd probably still have done it anyway.

Summary
Clark Kent has been Superman for a while now, and the last thing he expected to happen in that time was for him to develop feelings for the cold and distant Batman. But when his day job thrusts him into acquaintance with the billionaire Bruce Wayne, Clark thinks this new attraction will make the perfect distraction from his coworker. That is, until Batman begins acting strangely, almost as if his crush wasn’t as unrequited as he’d thought...
Bruce Wayne likes to keep a healthy work-life balance. That means no friendships with his coworkers, especially not Mr. Goody Two-Shoes with his dark hair and his innocent act. And Bruce is positive it is an act - at least, until he runs into Mr. Goody Two-Shoes at a fundraiser, wearing jeans and a sweater instead of tights and a cape. But hey, Clark definitely doesn’t realize who he is, so maybe they can be friends outside of work. Superman doesn’t need to know his secret identity has been cracked; Bruce knows nothing if not how to keep a secret.

Summary
Theo could not remember exactly what his first crime had been. Maybe it had been the death of his sister, hit-and-run with maybe even murder, he wasn't really sure. Those years for him had been so full of traumatising events that whatever horrible things he saw or that other people considered horrible he considered normal and even thought they got off lightly. Or maybe it had been when he had first stolen a Kinder Egg from a small grocery shop at the age of four just because his parents, too healthy and too Mormon, didn't want to buy him a stupid chocolate Egg.
With the Dread Doctors everything was allowed, stealing, setting fires, vandalism, murder and even tax evasion. So for Theo it was no big deal to survive in that world with the skills he had and the cunning and mischief of his words to get everything he wanted.
Only for Liam this was definitely a problem. The first crime Liam witnessed of Theo was when he tried to kill Scott without succeeding, he could be charged with ''attempted murder'' but to tell the truth he hadn't seen it with his own eyes, so the first time he saw Theo break the rules was on a Friday night.

Liam becomes torn between both packs and everyone’s loyalties are tested. His wolf seems to know exactly who he is loyal too.

“Okay,” he finally replied, “Okay, yeah. I mean, it makes sense.”
“What does?”
“You being in love with Theo,” Mason said, casual as anything, like Liam’s heart didn’t still twist at the words. “I remember being a teenager and watching the two of you fight together – back to back, not a single move out of place. Or how you two fought for each other. Sometimes, I thought you guys could literally read each other’s mind. That was the only way to explain how in sync you were, you know?”

Before MSBY, Sakusa Kiyoomi knew very little of ‘Atsumu Miya’ after high school. All he really knew was how petty and how much of a jerk he turned into. But after they started to talk off of the court again due to their own TV show, Kiyoomi had some Divergent Thinking about Atsumu Miya.

Miya Atsumu accidentally hurts Sakusa Kiyoomi’s hand in a practice match, and he is all over the latter’s house cooking him meals, unravelling the man and feeding him with his own hands for a while. He’s doing it solely out of the burden on his conscience and for the fun of it, not because of his non–existent enormous crush on Sakusa, thank you.

Summary
“Are ya askin’ me out, or?”
“No, nothing like that,” Kiyoomi corrects him quickly. “Just an arrangement of sorts, something beneficial to you, so you could accomplish eliminating all of your firsts.”
“Beneficial to me? What d’ya get out of it?”
“The peace of mind that comes from knowing you won’t go hook up with some idiotic stranger who is going to affect your emotions and therefore, your gameplay.”
“Is that it?”
“It’s simply a way to ensure the harmony of the team.”
“All of yer fancy wordin’ doesn’t change the fact that ya wanna kiss me," Miya sings, gleeful now, and Kiyoomi is beginning to regret this plan and his entire existence.

Shout out to Jay on TikTok for the recommendation! Had me kicking my feet against the bed and giggling 🥰
Shout out to ash on Twitter/X for putting my story on blast! I never ever anticipated people would enjoy my story so much that they’d reread it. MULTIPLE TIMES 😭
—————————————————————“You think because you’re only attracted to women that only women will be attracted to you? For f**k’s sake, Miya, Bokuto practically drools all over you every time we meet up. There’s a reason for that. Anyone attracted to men is attracted to you. You think I want to torture myself with social hangouts with you when I know full well I’ll never be able to indulge my desires?”
There’s only a brief moment of silence as Atsumu drunkenly processes Kiyoomi’s words. Then, Atsumu sits back from the chabudai, spreading his arms across the seats of the couch as he stares at Kiyoomi with hooded, challenging eyes.
“Then indulge yerself, Omi-Omi.”
