Hope no other Alpha catches the scent and decides to stake a claim. And if they do? Well…” He lets the implication hang.
“Or,” he says, stepping back into Superman’s line of sight, “you can stay here with me.”
Lex smiles, satisfied and sharp.
“No strings. No questions. No one ever has to know. And trust me, I don’t want anyone else finding out about this any more than you do. A secret like this?” He leans in slightly, whispering conspiratorially. “It’s far too valuable to share.”
Lex develops a compound that triggers Superman’s heat, but the side effects don’t end there. As Clark spirals, Lex begins to change too, in ways he never planned for. What started as control begins to shift… and neither of them is ready for what comes next.

The dirt beneath Bruce’s foot gives, just a bit, and he slips forward. He catches himself near-silently, a hand pressed to the wood, but it creaks, just barely, and the voices inside go quiet, listening.
“Did you hear that?” the first voice asks.
Then, a voice unlike either of theirs, and yet so familiar: “Y’all are fucked.”
Clark.
Clark’s ridiculous Midwestern voice, Clark’s unexpected and infrequent curse, Clark’s breath and life passing through his throat. Still alive, then.
And, from the sounds of it, he’s aware enough to realize it’s Bruce on the other side.

But he never expected this particular problem - namely, the problem that the Kryptonian's supermodel looks combined with boy scout manner is an irresistible combination. And said Kryptonian can hear the stoic Bat's heartbeat go crazy whenever he is around.
Bruce is horny, Clark has self esteem issues, and Alfred is so done with his employer/son.

Clark temporarily loses his powers, and while it's initially jarring, he gradually adjusts and tries to go about on a somewhat normal routine after telling his inner circle (which can also include the League since they're building themselves up). Problem is that he is somehow an even bigger danger magnet than Lois in this state.

Magic is always a pain. Superman might temporarily be a toddler, but the League's knows they've gotten off easy this time: everyone's in the proper dimension, there's no annoying entity trying to teach them a lesson, and the de-aging spell should wear off without any weird consequences in less than a fortnight. Babysitting duty gets ten times more adorable with the purchase of a Justice League plushie set. Now Clark can continue his heroic adventures with his friends: fighting crime, spreading justice, and... beheading Batman?
It's gotta be a fluke. Right? Right.
Accidents can happen twice in a row-- no, three, four?-- times. Though probably not by the twenty second. It's definitely intentional by the thirtieth time. Probably.

The Foxes all work at Palmetto McDonald’s and Neil’s arch nemesis of a customer, Riko Moriyama, has a fucking dead body bag in the backseat of his uncles’s BMW while visting the drive-thru (and the body isn't dead?).
Or Neil should never work in customer service, no one should’ve elected Andrew as a manager, Wymack doesn’t have the heart to fire them all when he really should, and Seth haunts the place as a ghost that no one can be fucked getting rid of.
