    I turn around, and slam my forehead into the deck as I fall to my knees. “Please, god, I know the last time we talked I told you to suck an egg but what the actual fuck. What did I do? Is this because of the gay thing? I’ll stop I swear I’ll knock it off just please—”

    “What are you talking about? Why were you swimming all the way out here? What’s with your weird clothes?” The Boy, whom I refuse to name on principle, starts rapid fire shooting out questions while wiggling his way across the tiny boat to me.

    “This is actually happening. Oh my god this is real, what the shit…” I turn around from my position on the floor to see The Boy crouched inches from my face. I give an undignified yelp and scramble as far back as I can without tipping over the edge.

    He gives me that bright grin and announces “I’m Monkey D. Luffy! I’m gonna be King of the Pirates!” Then he cocks his head to the side. “Who’re you?”

    HOLY HELL I DIED
    I love love love how chaotic this is and it is for sure taking me on a hell of a ride.
    It’s so so beautiful i love the characters i love them i love how much they love each other and how funny they are!!!
    I love how this is somewhat introspective but doesn’t sacrifice the chaos and humor to reach that point
    I also love how hilariously everyone sort of ignores any issues with ed’s knowledge even though they DEFINITELY know more than they should
    I love how quickly i consumed this content like a ravenous beast (eek!)
    I love the bullheaded confidence that somehow works out. It seems turning the insanity dial all the way up to one million really is a viable strategy!
    A thousand blessings upon the author, i wish them well
    Stay sexy out there my friends
    Diving all the way back in 10/2025 because i seek a sort of haphazard competence.

    The Riddler halts. Pauses.

    “What the fuck, dude?” He finally exclaims, breaking all melodramatic pretenses and slamming his hands down on the table, “Either listen to the goddamn riddle or let me kill you so we can get this exchange over with!”

    Peter nods, “Sorry, sorry, my bad on that one. I finally remembered the word I was thinking of. Here, let’s make a deal this time - cross my heart I’ll keep it - so if I can’t solve your riddle you get to…” Peter gestures, leaving it open ended, and the Riddler seems to perk up.

    “Kill you in a blaze of glory,” he finishes, primly, and the melodrama returns as he crosses his legs and re-steeples his hands, “And if you win? I must be fair, after all.”

    “Uhh… would you mind telling me where I am?”

    OR

    Peter's greatest enemy is time management and also maybe the hoard of superheroes that are crawling all over Gotham.

     

    (The Amazing Spider-Man version of Peter Parker - don't have to watch the movies to understand, but there are references to the films.)

    Recognition sinks him further into despair, when it finally creeps in and he puts a name to his own face.

    ‘Oh, no. I’m the sexist.’

    An attempt at a SI-fic with a character not quite lucky enough to be given easy access to the main cast. Sporting a fresh case of “amnesia” and a disgustingly overpowered cursed technique to balance out his ineptitude, the casual fan who’s replaced Naoya Zen’in has enough on his plate without having to muddle through clan politics and the social repercussions of incarnating as such an utter bastard. It’s going to be really hard to save the world and not die when he’s barely involved in the original plot … and when he never even finished the damn manga.

     

    Maybe he’s only half-lying when he says he doesn’t remember anything.

    I am loving this a whole lot!! It is very funny at the beginning and now is winding its way towards more serious themes. The plotting is very well done—to the point where i am losing the plot because im not paying enough attention to what is happening ;-;
    how are people so smart at writing!! how do they do it!! urgh this is so great actually i want to eat it.

    dude this is so full of love and joy and it is absolutely beautiful.
    The lore is also pretty crazy.
    I also read this extremely quickly. If only i could apply this voracity to the stuff i need to read for academics :/
    I also keep associating elías with a professor i had at school with a somewhat similar name. It’s a little odd, because he is a real person.
    Adding some more after ive read the other installments!!
    this is seriously just really good. The escalation is happening at a pace that im very satisfied with and the undercurrent of mystery is keeping me very interested. YIPPEE!!!

    Im diving in once more perhaps prematurely in 6/2025 because this series captures a feeling that i do so yearn for. Help.
    Weee woooo weee wooo it turns out i am consuming it once more with stunning alacrity!! Help! I love it too much!

    Back on my bullshit in 10/2025 reading the last installment bc i didnt get to it last time. This fic is constantly on my mind in the best way possible. It is ah. Just so good. Eek.

    Excellently paced and so so witty, great fun. Final confrontation is very rings of akhaten (doctor who iykyk) like TAKE IT ALL!! ah darn i liked this a whole freaking lot ahhhh
