This is a silly little fanfic idea I got to smoosh The Pitt with my original series Wounded Dream (which you can read on Ao3) together.
In this world, the supernatural exist, and are known and accepted by a human society, though the supernatural aren't always open about their true nature at first.
If you want to read Wounded Dream for yourself to get to know Carlisle and Kennedy on a more personal level in between chapter uploads, you can do so here!
This is currently a work in progress, and I am currently a full time university student, so updates will likely be sporadic. I appreciate your patience and support and hope you enjoy my little idea ^-^

Her face faltered, and she gave him a once over. She grabbed the chocolate loaf and put it in a paper bag, then looked at him again and put all the other stuff in there too. “I was going to throw these out anyways, so you can -” She paused, as if considering her words, “On the house.”
Or.... Robby tries to figure out if the owner of the bakery who keeps giving him free food and offers to pay him for odd jobs is flirting with him.

She gave him a slow, deliberate once-over, taking her time, her smile shifting into something nearly predatory.
“In that case, I’d better not say the next thing I’m thinking.” Her voice dipped, low and almost conspiratorial. “Might get us both in trouble.”
Jack’s pulse skipped again. From anyone else, that kind of directness would have felt reckless, maybe even arrogant. But from her, Jack found himself oddly charmed, utterly defenseless.
