Summary
Now at the library, where there should be a center table, stood a metal box with a large opening (seemingly, for someone to get inside) and buttons of multiple sizes at its front. The box was connected to a couple of spirit vines. Varrick pressed one of the buttons, and the inside of the machine lit up, creating a hypnotizing purple warp.
As fascinating as it looked, Korra could only sigh in disappointment.
“Did you seriously use spirit vines on another one of your crazy- Wait, did you just say ‘time machine’?”

Until when Koza, a Fire Nation girl who would argue is nothing special, suddenly encounters her nation's greatest enemy: A young Air Bending nun-in-training with an affinity for baked goods. After learning of Sozin's true actions against the Air Nomads, as well as the Fire Nation's true goals for the future of the world, Koza decides to keep the Air Bender a secret, protecting her from even her own family. As time passes, however, the relationship between the two girls escalates to an unimaginable place, and Koza finds herself having to choose between the two things dearest to her: Her honor or the Air Bender.

By the time San was seven years old, they already knew who they were. The third “non-bending” child of two non-benders, living at the edge of the swamp, with waterbenders as their family's neighbors and earthbenders across the way.
The White Lotus had been to their village multiple times, once every year or so, on their relentless quest for the Avatar. They didn't want something bad to happen to them, like it almost did with the last Avatar, or something. San said nothing, every time. According to their parents, it was a non issue, since none of them had any bending.
But San's parents didn't know a lot of things. Like the fact that San wasn't a girl or a boy, that San was a bender….or that San could bend even more than one element.
Or that San was the Avatar.
