Summary
There's a lot of expectation attached to Steve Rogers' name. It's taken him years to prove his own worth - that he's made it so far in the USNA on his own merit and not just because of his father. He's close though - there are only a few more months until he graduates and gets to stand on his own two feet. It's taken a lot of effort to get there, and a lot of sacrifices.
Bucky's beyond the point of expectation. When your father and grandfather have both been President - and your mother nurses political ambitions of her own - brilliance is a foregone conclusion. He's just counting down the final months of his confinement to the glass cage of the White House and he's determined to put that whole world behind him.
But as the days standing between them and their dreams dwindle, Steve comes to realize he might have made one sacrifice too many, and Bucky learns that his freedom comes at a cost he's never going to be able to pay.

Bucky nods from where he’s standing in the doorway, hands shoved in his hoodie pockets. “Always. S-see you next w-w-week,” he says quietly.
That’s when the pair catches his eye. Two blonds, hands moving like lightning as they sign to each other. He notices the hearing aids in both of their ears. They’re both cute, but the smaller one is absolutely stunning. Perfect crescent moon on a clear, starry night gorgeous. Trees mid-turn in the fall gorgeous. Flowers blooming in the spring gorgeous.
He gives Sam a last wave and forces his feet to move.
He texts Natasha on the train home.

Summary
John is missing. When Sherlock receives a text summoning him to Silent Hill he's intent on reclaiming his friend but the town has other ideas. Our detective must battle through a world shaped by his own troubled psyche as he uncovers the town's secrets, attempts to find John and hunt down Jim Moriarty.
You don't have to be a fan of Silent Hill to enjoy this. If you like a good horror film or novel, you'll probably find something you like here. If you've ever wanted a peek inside Sherlock's head, this is for you too.
This is definitely one for the adults. It covers adult themes, violence to both monsters, adults and a child and many themes of psychological horror. Also, there is no guarantee that the main characters will survive to the end of the story (hence the character death warning but things aren't always as they seem). If you didn't think I could kill them off you wouldn't be so scared for them! Please take note of the warnings but then enjoy! Based on series one.
