What more is there?” His tone is light and playful, that sparkle in his eye that says what he’s saying is true, but definitely intended to scandalise. “What about you, though? What haven’t you done that you want to?”
Patrick should have a charming, flirty-but-not-over-the-line answer. That’s how they go, this back and forth between them. Except, everything has been wiped out of his head by David’s words. “That thing you said. I’ve never done that.”

“Yeah,” Patrick agrees. “But you made it sound like it was some kind of severance package or something. You didn’t tell me that you got her the money, and then she passed a fair chunk of it over to you.”
