Summary
To save the Prince, Merlin's magic is revealed and King Uther sentences him to death, to be burned on the stake. However Prince Arthur has a different plan, where he decides to run away with Merlin, forsaking his rights to the throne and to serve a self-voluntary exile beside Merlin.
This journey covers riches to rags, roads of difficulties and staying incognito from both foes and allies yet under the worst circumstances the duo finds themselves nurturing a bond stronger than friends whilst learning to embrace their flaws to adapt and overcome hurdles together.
Slight Inspiration: From the scene where Arthur tells Gwen (his literal queen) that if he wasn't the King, he would become a farmer and bring Merlin with him.

Summary
In which Balinor is the Earl of Elador and he saves Camelot from Kilgharrah in a ball. Uther rewards him by allowing Merlin, his son, to train as a knight in Camelot. Merlin is not pleased by that decision but he stays to spite his parents. He also ends up falling in love with the Camelot's prince. A poor decision on his part.
Merlin may be the greatest wizard but he is also the greatest fool in love. He finds happiness anyways.

Summary
In the modern city of Camelot, the magical criminal Emrys’s calling card is found near the body of a murder victim. Merlin Wyllt, the man behind Emrys, has made a point of never hurting anyone during his criminal activities and is determined to find the real culprit and clear his alter ego’s name.
Opportunity falls into his lap when police detective Arthur Pendragon attempts to recruit him as a special expert on Camelot’s Magicside for the investigation. Apparently, Arthur also believes Emrys is being framed.
Of course, there is the issue that Arthur's father is the reason Merlin's father is in prison, falsely accused of murder.
And that Arthur is a prat, if a ridiculously handsome one.
But working with him seems a small price to pay for access to any information the police might have on the case. And Merlin knows Arthur is different from his father.
As the two men work together, they find themselves falling for each other. But can that work out, considering all that stands between them? And can they find the murderer before they kill again?

Summary
Merlin was just ahead of them, talking to what the Knights recognized as Arthur's old servant, even before Merlin. The two were laughing at something, Morris' arm resting on Merlin's shoulder.
"For all the gods, we left him alone for one minute. How is it possible that someone is already flirting with him?" exclaimed Gwaine in exasperation.
"Oh no. Oh no, no, no, no, no," Elyan moaned. When Lancelot turned to look at him perplexed, he noticed that Elyan's gaze was not directed towards Merlin and Morris, but at the Castle. Lancelot frowned, following Elyan's gaze and for a second his heart missed a beat.
Arthur was marching at a charging pace towards the Tavern.
Precisely towards Merlin and Morris.Lancelot brought his hand over his eyes. What to do? What not to do? The Knights of Camelot were not used to being scared for stupid things like that. They had endured worse, They had survived that morning, they could survive everything. The Knights of Camelot were the bravest men in the Kingdom. And since Leon was not with them now someone else had to be wise in his place.
So Lancelot made the wisest decision possible.

Summary
“So let me get this straight,” Arthur said, folding his fingers together as the man in front him awkwardly shifted. “You are under the impression if you win the favor of my servant that you will then win my favor?” he asked and the nobleman shifted again.
“Well, sire,” he said “That is the common consensus among… the chatter.”
“The chatter,” Arthur repeated and his mind flashed to all the kindness Merlin had received from other nobles. Dear God.
Or
Merlin has all of Camelot (and neighboring kingdoms) wrapped around his finger and Arthur is beginning to resign himself to the fact his servant somehow has more power than he does.
