His eyes sting. At the very least, Buck contains the sound of it in his voice. “Eddie, I don’t know if you’ve noticed,” he replies, “but I already am.”
Eddie self-implodes. Christopher, seeking refuge, flees to Buck—whose priorities amount to, in varying order: take in the kid, get Eddie to talk to him, and keep the three of them afloat in the process. (Oh, and Tommy’s there too. He thinks.)

Summary
“I’ll do whatever you want, just, please.” Buck sobs out the last word, eyes burning with unshed tears.
“A vow.” The man leans uncomfortably close to Buck. The knife brushes against his neck, lightly scratching across the top layer of Buck’s skin. The man’s cold blue eyes hold Buck’s full attention. “That’s what I require. Sell me your allegiance.”
Buck stares back at the killer, unable to fully process what is being asked of him. He sees a flash of anger dance in the stranger’s gaze. He's impatient. Unpredictable. Fear pours into Buck's chest as he realizes he might not get a second chance at this. He has to make this count. “I vow to give you complete control over the remainder of my life. My body is yours to destroy—so long as you let my sister live and return safely to her family.”

Or, After Eddie leaves for Texas, Buck goes to seek comfort from his sister and walks in on her kidnapping. In order to save Maddie's life, Buck offers up his instead. Unintentionally agreeing to something worse than death.

Summary
Sure, watching the happy and growing family around him was hard, and it made Castiel sick with nostalgia at times, but he understood. Above all, Castiel was happy. He was content and glad to be living all the benefits of what should be his great happily ever after—forever. Things were good.
So, why was he plagued with those terrible nightmares, you ask? Castiel had no clue.

Castiel tried a lot to enjoy his new life with Dean by his side, but his past still haunted him. He tried to ignore it and set countless limits and rules for himself in a desperate attempt to hold onto the principles he once had, but none of them worked. Unfinished business clawed at him and bubbled up slowly and steadily. No matter how much Cas pretended everything was fine, he felt like a very deadly ticking bomb, and there was nothing he could do to stop it.

When Dean starts to date other people to try to get over him, Castiel starts to wonder if maybe Dean is the exception to the rule.

Dean and Cas have a very public deathbed confession and officially become an item. And this would totally be thrilling—except Sam gets knocked out during the fight and misses the whole damn thing.
Or the one where everybody except Sam knows and Sam thinks Dean’s sudden newfound celibacy is a witch’s curse.

Summary
It began on a Sunday with Winchester brotherly bonding time: complete with pizza, beer, football…and Dean sneakily thumbing through Tinder. Dean gleefully discovers Sam's profile, and just when he's ready for a harassing one-liner, he sees Sam’s utter horror. Because Sam hasn't even downloaded the app. Which means someone’s using his picture to catfish people on the infamous hook-up trend.
Sam takes matters into his own hands, begging his friend Castiel to let him use his picture to catfish the catfisher. Almost immediately the two fake accounts match. That’s when Cas receives a call from his brother, Gabriel, saying there's been case of ‘identity theft.’
Castiel instantly puts together the pieces that Sam and Gabriel are catfishing each other.
Everything goes to shit after that.
Somehow, Sam ends up catfishing his own brother trying to set him up with Cas. Cas is forced on a date, playing a fucking make-believe character who Sam created for him. Sam finds out he really enjoys the asshole wearing his face. Within weeks it’s a complicated mess of medical dramas, overworked law students, complete with bizarre cat-and-mouse relationships.
Nothing good comes from “swiping right.”

“You know I do,” Dean answered, his voice carrying resignation and sadness. He knew Cas was right. This was the only way if he wanted to help save his brother. He had to do it, even though everything in him wanted to fight it. But he trusted Cas with his life. And now he was going to show him just how deep that trust ran.
Dean fell to his knees in front of the angel, bowing his head forward as he was fitted with the extraordinarily heavy collar. Castiel’s fingers caressed his skin when he closed the clasp of the sign of slavery; the symbol that gave Dean’s life over to the angel’s mercy. Dean suppressed the urge to close his eyes.

While on a routine salt n’ burn, the Winchester boys encounter a garrison of angels. Sam ends up being taken to Limbo; leaving it up to his brother, Dean, and the angel, Castiel to infiltrate the plane in order to rescue him.
