Lips crashed into his own, the taste of cherry lip balm invading his senses. A shocked gasp left his lungs when the other departed, eyebrows fixed in a sort of angry confidence.
It was nearly lost on him how many people surrounded the two, but the eyes that bore into Tommy's skin were more than enough to stop an increasing urge to grab Ranboo and pull him back in.
OR; Tommy and Ranboo have always had tension between them. When you grow up, that tension can switch up on you.

The hat couldn’t have put him in Slytherin. His gaze flicked automatically to James Potter, his newfound friend, the boy who so badly wanted to be a Gryffindor.
“Mr. Black.” Professor McGonagall said and his gaze snapped to her. Her expression softened a little and he wondered how much of what he was feeling showed on his face. “To the Slytherin table if you would.”
It took all his willpower to muster up the Black composure that had been so drilled into him. It was enough for him to keep his legs from shaking and his chin high as he crossed the hall towards his new housemates.

"Hey!" Tommy's hand closes in on the guy's face. He watches the man’s expression twist as though he’s staring at a monster with hollow eyes and bloody hands. That kind of is what Tommy is to the average civilian, isn't he?
“Look what I can do!” Tommy says cheerfully as his fingers land on the man's face, and the poor guy freezes.
Dark eyes widen to an almost inhumane gape. He can see the man’s mouth drop open like a corpse, or a brainless goldfish. He can see how his shoulders shudder. And he can definitely hear when a guttural scream rips from the man's throat. A cloth in the mouth only dampens that sound so much.
