“Ben’s a good friend of ours,” Belle tells Lighter quickly. “He’s a bear.”
“Uh. Cool…?” says Lighter.
“Anyway, once you’re done with Lighter’s tapes why don’t you two go hang out together!” She gives Wise a look.
“I’m still watching the shop, though?”
The look hardens. “Yes, but business is slow today.”
In which Belle is convinced her brother and Lighter should get together, and rope the ladies of the Sons of Calydon into setting them up. Wise is convinced he isn't, in fact, dating the Champion, until suddenly he is.

“Well, what’s his name?” San asked, genuinely curious about whether or not he’d remember him.
“Jung Wooyoung” Jongho replied.
San's blood ran cold.
Jung Wooyoung, the sweet, cheerful, sensitive boy who had joined his school back when he was fifteen. The boy with no friends, the boy who was an easy target. The boy who was spat on, kicked, punched, slapped, and called every disgusting name under the sun. Writing and plot is phenomenal but it is a mess, I definitely needed to take a break or two while reading this because it can get quite intense sometimes—it gets really toxic in this.
Heed the contend warning!! Highly recommend if you’re looking for convoluted but complex—every word is worth the read!!!!

Personal favorite—it’s the whole package. Beautiful analogies and imagery, intense and immersive scenes, interesting plot and character development done in a really good pacing, suspense and mystery that leaves you wanting to know more about the world and its characters. There’s also the comfortable separation between cc and character that comes from the balance of accurate characterization and realistic interpretation.

“He’s on scent blockers,” the employee explained. "Running this auction is involved enough without having to settle claim disputes if an omega’s scent triggers some alpha’s rut.”
That suited him fine; both he and Sam were on scent blockers most of the time and he’d planned on requiring that Castiel stay on them too. It helped with anonymity.
“Thank you,” he said, “That will be all.” The employee gave a small bow and left to service the other high bidders.
“Well, Cas,” Dean said cheerily, “Let’s go home.”
