So many questions. It was throwing Steve off a bit honestly, he was more used to being told what to do and where to go. He didn’t know Eddie enough to know what the right answer was, did he want Steve to tease and play shy? Or did he want it easy because it was what he owed? “You did amazing, baby!” Eddie stood up and pulled him into a hug when he made his way over despite him being all sweaty. “You are my star player, making it around the dirt all the way 4 times!”

Ilya’s laugh is loud and delighted and absolutely infuriating. He leans back on his hands, eyes lighting up like Shane just told him the funniest joke ever. “Oh my god,” he says, murmuring something in Russian that’s too quick for Shane’s mind to translate. “You want to have a not-sex competition.”
Shane shrugs. “You said I couldn’t resist you so…”
“Hollander,” Ilya says fondly, shaking his head, “You have finally lost it.”
“Or,” Shane counters, stepping closer, “You’re just not used to losing.”
Ilya’s grin widens. He looks Shane up and down, slow and obvious. Shane’s body has never been subtle where Ilya is concerned and he can’t help the heat that floods his cheeks with Ilya’s eyes on him so intensely.
“Fine,” Ilya says easily. “We’ll see how long you last.”
Shane doesn’t hesitate. “Longer than you will.”

Maybe if the video ended there, Shane thought, it would be okay. Okayish. Still incriminating. Still a fucking disaster. Still embarrassing, to have his breakup with this beautiful actress filmed and disseminated on Reddit of all fucking places, but not a nail in his coffin, burying him alive. But the video didn’t end there.
“Can I ask if you’ve ever been with another guy?” she had to ask.
And he, tears visible in his eyes, had to nod.

Why did he have to nod?
“Have you ever told anyone that before?” He shook his head. “Was it different? With a guy?”
