“Charon?” Hermes finally calls out, voice hoarse from sleep. His eyes scan the room in search of the boatman, who has yet to reveal himself from the shadows. Unwilling to give away his position just yet, Charon pulls his hat over his glowing eye, thoroughly enjoying his uninterrupted view of Hermes as he struggles against the ropes. And what a captivating view it is. His beloved wiggles and squirms against his restraints in such an enticing way, tempting Charon until the smoke wisping from his lips turns viscous, purple pooling in his mouth and dripping slowly to the ground from between his teeth.
