Tubbo immediately raced after him, heart pounding with rage and betrayal. Did Ranboo think this was funny? Or even somewhat acceptable? This was plain disrespectful and he was ready to beat Ranboo into the ground.
Tubbo wasn’t thinking anymore. He was in fight mode and he was mad. He yanked the bow out from behind his back and grabbed an arrow from its basket. He slid to a stop at a bush and all he could feel was being tight and hysterical and ready to explode.
Tubbo notched the arrow and drew back the string tight, tight, tight. He was pulling so hard he felt like any moment, with any more pressure, it would snap.
Tubbo and Ranboo were just joking with each other, he swears. Things got out of hand, he promises. He never meant for the arrow to fly, he lies. The day had been so great.

"I'm going to find the answers, or at least die trying. I did something unforgivable today, Technoblade, and I need to find out why. Why did I do it, what does he have that I don't? What was so bad that I would hurt my own family? What was so bad that I would hurt Michael? I hurt Michael."
"Ranboo, I didn't understand anything you just said," Techno admitted.
Ranboo cried out, "I'm too dangerous, Techno!"

No, I mean," tears fell down Ranboo's face, making a sizzling noise, "as an inmate, Sam!" Ranboo shouted, covering his face.
"Ranboo, I'm not gonna lock an innocent person into the prison," Well luckily for me, I am the least innocent person I know. "You haven't done anything wrong, Ranboo," Sam paused for a moment, "Are you alright?" He asked again.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm ok, I'm ok," Ranboo was trying to convince himself more than Sam.
"What's going on with you?" Sam asked the question as if Ranboo hadn't already established that he couldn't tell him. "It's- it's- I can't tell you," Ranboo repeated, "I can't tell anyone."
"Ok, I get that," Ha. No you don't. "But, are you alright? Just tell me. Are you alright?" Sam stepped closer.
Ranboo stepped back. He sighed, "I-" then he chuckled dryly, "I don't know anymore, Sam,"

As always, Tommy made sure to wear thick sweaters and heavy overalls, covering every spare inch of skin with fabric. For the most part, it worked. No one knew he was a pufferfish hybrid. They just thought he was a loud, boisterous kid who didn’t like being touched. They didn't even notice the tiny spines on his face, now that puberty and stress had mercifully covered his cheeks in acne.
One morning, Tubbo tried to grab Tommy’s hand. The ram hybrid ended up heaving over a bucket for the next few hours. There was no fresh milk in Pogtopia, so there was nothing they could do but wait for the nausea to pass.
It was the last time Tommy let anyone get close enough to make that mistake.
Or: Tommy, a pufferfish hybrid, hasn't properly touched anyone in years. Techno is beginning to realize this.

It had started as just pointless small talk, asking questions as though they were strangers and not his literal, actual parents, but that was fine. It had been a while since they caught up, and he couldn’t blame them for not knowing some things. They were very busy people, after all.
From there it was asking about his friends, the ones who he kept visiting and sometimes sleeping over at. He was too delighted by them taking an interest in his life to pay attention to the glances being passed.
Finally, the real topic came to light.
“Ranboo, dear. Your father and I have been talking and…” His mother paused, looking at her hands and biting her lip. “You’re a big boy now, you’re all grown up. You don’t need us anymore-“
Ranboo’s brow furrowed as he was quick to reassure. “No! That’s not true at all, you’re my parents! Of course I need you…”
“Ranboo we think you should move out.”
or, boo boy has one of the worst birthdays known to man, but its okay because his family is ready to pick him back up.
