Summary
A pall of magic has befallen HC-10. Most fae are content with doing mischief at the edges of mortal settlements, but something has driven these ones to malice, and if given their way, they will turn the whole inhabited continent into overgrown feywild, and the hermits into their obedient thralls.
There are a few fae who count themselves among the hermits: Gem and Joel, and on some level, Cub, Scar, and Jevin. But even with their experience and power (and the help of a couple of friends), will it be enough to put an end to the invasion and protect the mortal inhabitants of their world?

Summary
A Grove has little use for a Name.
Communicating only among roots and the rustle of wind and leaves, it bears no desire for the connection that other beings need Names to achieve. Such things would separate the collective, for the Grove as a whole cannot be Named. So, like their cousins the allays and vex, the Groves remain Nameless in the eyes of the Universe.
Though the truest of true Names are only formed that way, there are other ways that an entity may gain a name with its own power.

“XELQUA”, says one of the Watchers, the smaller of the two, wearing black-purple. “AT LAST, WE HAVE FOUND YOU.”
“–all day long!” finishes Grian, cheerily, and caps the verse with a bright, “Fuck off!” He extracts his hand from Pearl’s to summarily give both Watchers the finger.
“YOU WILL COME WITH US,” says the second, slightly taller Watcher.
“Eat shit and die,” says Grian, promptly. “I’m not going anywhere.”
(In which the Watchers come to retrieve Grian from the void, but are foiled by the twin powers of teeth and cursing. And friendship. But mostly teeth.)
