I don't even know what this is. I was tired of Viggo as the villain and wanted something else in this fandom. it's a bit inspired by sanctuary which is one of the best fics I've read.
Anyway this isn't good but I hope you still enjoy it :D (I did rewrite it and posted it if you want to check it out)

The atmosphere shifts in an instant as the operative finally unfolds and stands up tall; his gaze swings unsubtly to Crosshair, lingering there for an interminable span of seconds in which Crosshair braces himself for another attack, another fit of objection over his apparent violation of protocol that is the tattoo around his eye, his constant, painful reminder, and his last jealously guarded piece of himself.
But eventually, the mask swings back to face Hemlock and he clarifies in his coldly distorted voice, “He is… mine?”
The briefest flash of hesitation on Hemlock’s face betrays his wariness at his own choice of words; Crosshair can’t particularly enjoy the misstep amidst his own renewed determination that he wants to leave, to be anywhere but here.
