Bucky's eyes like this are huge, liquid. There's something pained about his expression. His dimples are enormous, the strap of his overalls held shut with a huge button. It's hard to imagine this doll was a full-grown super soldier just ten minutes ago before someone decided to throw a true-form ray at them.

Summary
So Sam lets it all fall. The anger that galvanizes to pain, that transforms to grief— this amorphous thing in and between his tendons and muscles, in the quiet parts of him ringing so loud for the first time.
Sam exhales, pushing his whole body this time, fingers clasping tighter and tighter, Bucky nodding, his pulse thumping underneath him, face blissed out and whole body shaking.
He lets the soft flesh of him, the expanse of taut sweaty skin, yield to this moment.
