Apparently, he had a thing for shuttles, which came as a surprise to Astrotrain because Blitzwing had never bothered him for a ‘face in the past. In any case, shuttle-fraggers were hard to come by these cycles and Blitzwing was right there, begging for spike like some down-on-his-luck prostitute.

Megatron still has his doubts and uncertainty. Which are only fueled when Optimus decides to risk their perfectly fine balanced friendship they've kept for cycles now

Rustling of rubble from across the room reminded him of his adversary who had been significantly closer to the blast than he was. The seeker rose to his pedes and approached the warlord with caution, he had no idea how the older bot would react to their display.
Galvatron groaned pushing away a block of scorched steel off of his right side. He forced himself up clearly still dazed by the blast, Starscream was taken back by the large hole in Glavatron's chest armor and the... soft protruding metal beneath it. Galvatron had always had a larger than normal spark chamber, or at least Starscream thought it was some type of reinforced spark chamber. It definitely gave Galvatron a shapely frame to envy, but seeing this he had no idea what to make of it.
"What in Primus is that!" The seeker's mouth ran before his processor could catch up.
The older bot tracked Starscream's eyes down to his chest plate, his servo quickly coming to cover the hole as his faceplate flushed.
