Summary
In what can only be described as a clinically inadvisable act of literary devotion, I’ve written 31 Supercorp one-shots, each based solely on the bridge of a different track from Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology. It is essentially a coping mechanism with a word count (223,000) ‘cause if I don’t transmute obsessive thought into narrative structure, I begin to fray at a molecular level.
The focus on the bridges is because that's where people tend to say what they mean. Also because I have a well-documented allergy to emotional stability and a pendant for yearning. I like to think this is what happens when you intellectualise heartbreak until it metastasises into plot.

Summary
Lena isn't desperate... but she kind of is. Kara is oblivious to their mutual sexual tension and refuses to do anything about it. So Lena has to take matters into her own hands. That's why she found herself paying an obscene amount of money to date someone in the dark. The literal dark. This person wouldn't know her name or who she was. She'd have a nice dinner, have a nice night out, and maybe fall in love with someone else while falling out of love with her best friend.
But what if her best friend had the same idea?

“The day you decided to start therapy, what made you do it?”
“I hurt Kara,” Lena confesses. Her heart clenches in her chest when she thinks back to the quiet sobs Kara had let out, how her body had trembled in Lena’s arms. “I had been leaning on her for months. She… she saw it all, and she carried her pain and mine on her shoulders and it hurt her so much. But I had been so captivated by my own pain that I didn’t realize I had made it hers too.”
“You’re feeling guilty for how what happened to you affected Kara,” Kelly concludes. “Is that why you are punishing yourself?”
“I think so,” Lena blinks away tears and lets out a shaky sigh. “And I… Kara. She made it her fault, told me that she should have been there earlier. And the worst part is, that for a moment that night, right before… it happened, I thought the same. Where is Supergirl? Why isn’t she here?”

Lena gets hurt. Kara finds her. They try to deal with the aftermath.

And she might just be able to pull it off, even if Supergirl keeps refusing the offer the join her!
But the worst problem when it comes to Lena Luthor isn't her incredibly advanced suit and unlimited finances, or the villain's infuriating ability to stay two steps ahead.
It's that Kara might actually be starting to like her.

Kara did it. She finally told her. The impenetrable Luthor walls resurface and cloud her in the darkness that only one person can see her out of...But only if she lets her.

TW: Takes place right at 5x01 and switches up from there. This is a dark take on what could have happened, so beware of all the tags/trigger warnings. Lena is not turning "evil" as she did in the show. Instead, she and Kara revert further into their darkest parts. Please don't read if any of the tags you see will trigger you. It's a slow burn toward healing. It's a long, gruesome battle to get ourselves out of the dark, and the road is long and not linear. Have some patience with our girls and with yourselves. <3

“It’s the dress,” Kara blurts out, “it’s just a very nice dress.”
“Is it?”
She feels pathetic. “Uh huh,” she manages to say, “I like it.”
“That’s good,” the youngest Luthor says softly, “’cause I only bought it so you could take it off.”

The Super Friends gather at Rialto for Alex's and Kelly's engagement party. Lena shows up in a dress and with some dance moves and Kara's a goner. AKA the 6x18 fix.

Heat spikes in the back of Lena’s eyes. “Friends,” she repeats. “Of course. Why couldn’t we be?”
The answer is obvious. They were never really friends, even when they technically were. Lena has zero idea how Kara plans to manage it now with all their history between them.A sort of retelling of S2 under the premise that Lena and Kara went to college together and dated.

“You’ve met my parents before, remember? Multiple times,” Korra clarifies, carefully making her way forward, as if Asami was a wounded polar-bear dog that might spook if she moves too quickly. “They already love you ‘Sami. This is more of a weird formality thing than anything else.”
Korra tries her best to wave off those nerves that Asami is feeling, although judging by the wild-eyed look she gets in return from her girlfriend, it doesn’t have the intended effect.
“But they’ve never met me as your girlfriend before!” Asami gets out, quickly continuing her train of thought before Korra can argue with her. “Don’t say it’s not different, because it absolutely is, Korra,” she disputes, Korra raising an eyebrow but being unable to hide the smirk on her face as Asami just shakes her head.
“I know that’s what you’re going to say, so don’t even try it.”
“We really know each other that well, huh?” Korra teases, taking the plunge and stepping forward so that she can intertwine their fingers together.
(Asami and Korra travel to the Southern Water Tribe for the Winter Solstice, and Asami sees Korra's parents for the first time since they started dating)
