"No, thank you," Buck primly replies in an attempt to dismiss whoever has stumbled upon his great escape, his eyes locked on the wisteria as he fumbles for a new foothold. "You can, uh, go back inside and wait with all the other gawkers."
"I will," the stranger agrees, but he sounds more confused than he does eager to join the rest of the wedding guests for the upcoming festivities. "Before I go, may I ask – what are you doing?"
Buck purses his lips in frustration as the slick sole of his left shoe declines to find proper purchase on the bark of the next branch. "Nothing."

He had won the lawsuit and was finally back with the 118 but he wasn't truly back he had lost his family because of it, now he just stayed around to prove the loss it was worth it. Then his parents came back and revealed something shocking.

"It's okay." He leans forward and grins, squinting one of his eyes and shrugging. "Your secret's safe with me.'or; Buck's a best seller author under a pen name, Eddie is an actor auditioning for the movie adaptation of his books, and somewhere along the way, they fall in love.
