Before him was a dried landscape of sand and ruins. Was he not in Sumeru? Why is everything dead and corrupted? The individual plants seem to be dying of thirst and some decayed to dust at the slightest touch.
On his way he meets Nahida, unfortunately he does not recognise her immediately and follows her. She seems to know him better than anyone else, even if she doesn't look like it, what baffles him more is how she found him and when she did....
