Izuku remembered the day his life changed forever.
He remembered the blazing Sun against his freckle covered skin and the splash waves as he raced across the beach, his feet squishing into the hot black sands as Katsuki giggled boisterously.
“Com’ on, Deku!” Katsuki teased his scarlet eyes bright and wild as they raced after the turtle frog that hopped across the sands. “We almost gots him!” The little blond promised a tremor of excitement in his tone.
“Okay, Kacchan!” Izuku smiled as his forest green curls shimmering under the bright warm sun and his tan skin glistened from playing in the water of the river.
