It's snowing. The air is quiet, tiny flakes drifting soundlessly downward. The trees are white and fluffy from snow and frost.
It's almost peaceful, if he ignores the zip-ties around his limbs and the ice scraping his elbows as he's dragged behind a building.
He's oddly bleary, dizzy from being hit in the head, and his eyes water from a mixture of pain and hot, bitter shame. It was his fault, after all, and he supposes it was what he deserved.

Before Rogers could start struggling Tony asked, “You had a mother too Rogers, right?” Steve stopped struggling, surprised by the sudden mention of his mother.

Tony finally confronting Rogers about Siberia, revealing his mistakes to everyone and putting him in his place for good.

Nearly three years out from Civil War, news of an incoming alien invasion reaches earth. They need all hands on deck, which means the Rogue Avengers get a pardon and a chance to redeem themselves.
Steve is just happy he'll get to see Bucky again after the man left Wakanda years ago in search of a cure for the triggers. He's less excited to see Tony again, but, well, he's about to find out that they're kind of a package deal now.
And that's not the only changes the Avengers have in store for the Rogues.
