Amazing writing! It is Aizawa/OC, but that relationship is NOT the main plot. ACTUAL character development, REALISTIC villain redemption, and just RESTORATION of faith in humanity and the definition of a "good person" (even though they're fictional characters but oh you know what I mean). Long read, some angst, but an amazingly satisfying happy ending! AND THE WRITING! Awesome use of writing motifs and references and cliches that are just noticeable enough to tickle the fancy of any literature nerd.

Basically, feign Quirkless at all costs, even though your Quirk can go off on a whim and get you sent back on the spot. Then you're locked in a cold, dark room for an indiscernible amount of time. You are to never leave the building of your own accord. This means you are forbidden from going to school, confined to the building, and only given the bare minimum of what you have to learn. You are to never complain about the circumstances of any foster or adoptive home you're placed in, even if it means letting horrible things happen to you.
And that, unfortunately, is just the tip of the iceberg.
