Foolish was flirty and handsome, and always good for a quick fling or even a few years of dramatic romance- but Eret had almost never seen him love someone the way he clearly cared for this mortal.

Summary
Vegetta had always held the false hope that he might have a choice in who he married. It was a hope of romance, but it was one he never should have entertained. Now, faced with the imminent death of his father and the responsibility of carrying on that legacy, the choice of a lifelong companion had to be rushed, and it had to be correct. No pressure, as long as he could keep the marriage amiable at the very least.
Foolish had never held much hope for anything, fifth in line for his own land’s leadership and a cast out of society at that; His existence, for most of his life, had been a mere footnote. Being sent away to marry into the crown family on the mainland had never been a thought in his mind until it happened. Told to keep their lands peaceful to each other, while hiding a shameful secret of his own, the risk of shaming his family and people even more than he already had is a looming thought.
Both, with no other choice, decided to do the best they could given the circumstances.
Circumstances are inclined to change, however, and secrets between lovers can never stay secrets for long.

Summary
First Foolish has been stuck in a discussion all day with his advisors. Which was fine, Eret isn’t incapable of being alone. They prowl the castle, reading and writing, continuing their slow ease into archiving the country’s oldest historical novels.
However the slow monotonous work had entranced them so much that they’d completely missed Leonarda’s departure to sea for her solo trip across the ocean. She’d been buzzing about it for days and, equal parts nervous and excited, had invited Eret to watch her cast off with a motley crew to see her distant family.
And when Eret looked out over the window, they noticed with a dropped stomach, that it was way past midday.

OR;
Eret, on the heels of a collapsed DSMP kingdom, falls into the Brown De Luque hands :) No longer interested in being royalty, they become an archivist/historian who lives with the royal family while trying to heal from years of unresolved guilt and trauma. And it turns out Foolish still likes Eret. But Vegetta does not.

Being revived is one thing, living is another, and one requires significantly more work.
Set near directly post Wilbur's revival. Wilbur is getting used to living again, and it is a bit of challenge. So much that was normal is new, and re-learning how to live isn't exactly an immediate thing. After spending so long in limbo, Wilbur has generally just, forgotten what things feel like. Hunger, exhaustion, and so on.
There is something wrong with him, and Wilbur does not know what it is.
