Summary

Of course, life isn’t as simple as that, and Harry is a magnet for trouble. And what does "normal" really mean, anyway? The pure-bloods in his group of friends think he should learn more about their culture and religion if he wants to fit in.

Le mouvement avait été à peine perceptible. S'il n'avait pas vécu avec Kaeya la moitié de sa vie, Diluc n'aurait probablement pas remarqué le sursaut craintif. Une main s'était posée sur la cuisse de Kayea. La panique s'exprima, fugace, dans la pupille écarquillée de Kaeya, brutale et brillante comme une goutte d'huile jetée sur le feu.
Diluc ne la vit pas disparaître.
La rage le prit à la gorge, menaçant de l'emporter. Il n'avait pas ressenti cela depuis Snezhnaya.
"C'est la maison qui offre."
Heureusement Diluc maîtrisait encore sa voix. Mieux que sa vision qui, elle, brûlait ardemment contre sa hanche, dissimulée sous son tablier.

Prostitutes teach her how to take care of herself. She finds mothers among those who dry her tears and teach her how to smile in the face of all hardships. Gangsters defend her home from the villagers that constantly vandalize it. She finds mentors among those who teach her to bare her teeth and fight back.
Konoha is eager to forget the kind of power that comes with a jinchuuriki’s sacrifice, but the red-light district isn’t. They know that power like that can change their lives. Why would they alienate the girl who holds it?

“No! Idiot!” Sabo thumped Luffy on the head without even moving from his position on his back. “Dadan isn’t a bear. Or a tiger. She is a hag though.” He nodded, as if he had made an excellent, proper point.
Ace groaned at his brothers. “No! I mean what even is she to like… us. Not anybody else.”
