Vel sat on the steps in Ghorman, legs crossed one over the other, curly hair tied back, hands resting on her knees. A tourist resting after a long flight, bag settled beside her.
One of the aspiring rebels approached, a red cap resting jauntily on a clean-style haircut. He kneels, as if tying his shoes. Familiar words tumble from his lips: “Visiting friends?”

Or Vel wakes up or dies or passes out and finds herself back on steps in Ghorman more times than she can count.

Yavin is….
Yavin is a work in progress. It’s something to adapt to.
Everyone there is so…..idealistic. Eager. Kleya doesn’t know if it's because they haven’t been off this force-foresaken moon in years, or because they’ve never seen real war, but she doesn’t identify many who will have the stomach to do what needs to be done. Even those that she saw earlier - with Andor’s friend - training for what’s to come. She doubts any of them have been on the front lines before.
Andor and his friend notwithstanding. Also Vel, she supposes. Begrudgingly.
(Kleya recovers after the events of Andor Season 2 and adjusts to life on Yavin)
