In freshman year of high school, Danny pulled away from his friends without explanation.
At sixteen, he disappeared. Sam and Tucker presumed him dead. His parents insisted he was taken by ghosts.
As young adults, they run into him in Gotham, of all places. It's a stroke of luck that brings their best friend back to them.
If only it was that easy for the Bats to find the god damn engineer that's been running circles around them while they try to track him down.
Tim's not sure what he'll do first when he finally finds the brilliant bastard - kiss him or punch his teeth in.

Summary
Danny’s kind of out of touch with humanity, that was kinda the point in the end. He had a job to do, people and ghosts to protect, a dimension to rule, and crazy bigoted ghost hunters to keep in line; potential distractions and collateral weren’t useful for anyone. Though maybe those would have been good for Danny’s well being, not that he cared too much about that.

But the only thing she likes more than her own shows are other peoples', since she can't predict what'll happen. So he offers her a deal: she lets him off the hook... but he has to make an appearance on this new show she's been so excited about. She says he has to give it his all- she won't settle for anything less entertaining than revealing him would be. Danny takes that to mean he has to win.

When Izuku Midoriya tries out a new app to meet people, he doesn't expect his first meet-up to entail chatting with his nemesis in the park- much less, to learn how human Tomura Shigaraki is. The two clicked, having more in common with their childhoods and society's views on quirks than ever expected. What's more, Tomura appears just as talkative as Izuku is. He's witty, a little mean, and generally a bad idea for Izuku. Still, Izuku finds himself enthralled with the thoughtful (still evil) person he finds under the surface as Tomura begins to show him all the wonderful things he doesn't share with anyone else. Lying is not something Izuku ever thought he'd do, but as he tries to balance his growing relationship with Tomura and his hard work to one day become a pro-hero- things don't go as planned.
