It was Isabella's first time leading the hunt. As the new Hueawiee (Hue-ah-wee), it was her sacred duty since their previous leader, Gina, had died. She had watched Gina, alongside her friends, lure the snacks in plenty of times before, and they all had mimicked her in hopes of being chosen as the next Hueawiee. Isabella had it to perfection, thus why she was selected as Gina’s heir. So when the elders spotted a ship full of prey, she jumped at the opportunity to prove herself to the others, thinking, “How hard could it possibly be?”
