Ryland Grace is a singles skater but, after a falling out with his coach, who he calls a "staggering waste of carbon", he's left coachless and clubless until he receives a message from a woman named Eva Stratt offering him a chance for a new rink... although she may have left some details out.

Summary
Ryland Grace has been alone in space for a long time before he starts having dreams of a life he never knew he could yearn for as much as he does. He's no longer in space, he's living by a beautiful beach with perfect weather, he has actual friends and a man that is so caring for him it makes Grace ache. He chalks it up to his brain compensating for his loneliness.
Simon was sure he died, but now he's awake and aware on a beach with a man that knows him and, somehow, loves him. He lives in the dream, what must be some afterlife he somehow made his way to, before he wakes being saved by the very man from his dreams.

Summary
Three years after the probes carrying Taumoeba and Dr. Ryland Grace's final message arrive on Earth, humanity launches an interstellar spaceship with a brand new mission. Thirty-six crew members (including two graduates of a certain San Franciscan junior high school) travel to the star 40-Eridani to make friendly contact with the Eridians and bring them the alien life form from Tau Ceti-E that can save their star if Dr. Grace's sacrifice failed.
Grace, now fifty-seven years old, is just trying to balance his life as a teacher while no longer being the only human on the planet anymore. It's a big adjustment, but Rocky and the Terra's Grace crew are going to make sure he's well taken care of.

Summary
Right as Simon's ship is torn apart at the end of Iron Lung, he is transported through time and space and is dropped off on the floor of the Hail Mary (much to Grace and Rocky's horror and disgust-- the blood is EVERYWHERE!!). When Simon finally comes to, they're going to have to figure out how to live with each other-- and maybe, just maybe, learn how to be friends. (and maybe a little bit more than that...)
This fic also occurs closer to the end of the Hail Mary's voyage back to Erid-- food and resources are getting low. I'd like for them to get there eventually(?) but we'll see how it goes.
This work has silly moments!!!! But it will also be sad and scary!!!!!! They are tiny little beings floating through space!!!!!! I'd be so anxious all the time!!!!!!!!!

It was suppose to be a short vacation, the Eridians had outfitted the Mary with enough supplies for the three of them - Grace, Rocky and Adrian to fly to the nearest solar system to check out the status of the latest taumoeba probe and check out the weird phenomenon that Erid's senors had noticed. But then Mary got stuck and stopped responding, they were all locked inside the Don't Go Crazy Room and there was some weird movie playing on the screen and nothing was making sense anymore.
The circumstances that the Convict found himself in was uncomfortably familiar and Grace didn't know how to deal with his feelings about it and what was done to him back on Earth - since he'd purposely been refusing too do so for years.
At least he had his best friends with him while he slowly became emotionally attached to a fictional character.But was Simon really fiction? Or was something else at play here?

Simon may not be a believer in the way Eden wanted him to be, but Ryland Grace is the closest thing to divinity he's ever known.
Whatever it is they have, that unspoken tenderness and intimacy that keeps him up at night, has been enough to heal him and birth him anew in Erid. For that, he'll love Grace forever.But he was a fool to think Grace's so-called "saintliness" didn't come at a cost.
Or: An unknown (and presumably human) SOS signal comes from space, and Grace slowly loses his mind trying to reach it. Simon will do anything to stop him from going back to space—even if it means facing that he has underestimated his Angel and the past that haunts him.

After the Quiet Rapture, three factions were left behind. The Children of Eden; a nationalistic Martian death cult. The Consolidation of Iron (C.O.I.); a conglomerate of four (now three) space stations and two spacecraft focused on the survival of the human race at all costs. And the Eridian Exploratory Colony (Erid); a self-sufficient deep space exploratory craft that's new purpose is to learn what happened and thinks Eden and the C.O.I. need to chill the fuck out.
Dr. Ryland Grace is a Eridian scientist sent to AT-5 for a status update on the research being done there. On his first night there, he makes contact with the SM-13 and meets Simon who proposes a new theory of what happened. What if it was just a few stations that went missing and not the whole universe?
