Han Yoojin was no stranger to having flings with clients.
The first of which being way back in his teen years when he first started this gig, with a university student just slightly older than him. The boy had promised yoojin to just 'Wait 'till I’m done with school and have a job. I'll take you away from this, swear, baby'. But, of course, that hadn't happened.
Then the next silly dream was with a truck driver. Then a casino worker. Then a divorced father. Then some strange borderline drug dealer. Then another one, and another one, and another. And eventually Yoojin just had to stop holding his breath.
At least all those guys all tried to pretend to care about him. To actually give a damn about his feelings and future. Make him believe he had one with them. But Sung Hyunjae wasn't like that. He was a busy man, and didn't have time for indulgences or lies about love.
But, god, did Yoojin want them sometimes...

He exhaled slowly.
Then smiled.
“Funny!” Yoojin said calmly, meeting his gaze, “I was just thinking the same thing—about how empty it must be, buying everything except a personality.”
The silence that followed was delicious.
Hyunjae doesn’t really like his roommate and he certainly doesn’t like it when slowly but surely, he kept seeing the pathetic side of him. Lately though.. his roommate, who would usually bite back.. started to be nice?

Yoojin slow-blinks back.
Yoohyeon's mouth opens, then closes. Yoojin uses Yoohyeon’s temporary inability to make sense of the situation and escapes from his loosened hold, stumbling towards the large mirror near the dresser.
Well, Yoojin thinks. He can't remember what he expected when drinking that stupid potion, but it certainly wasn't this.
