    2005. The world is shifting.

    The internet is becoming a sanctuary for lost souls. First-generation iPods loop albums from The Used, My Chemical Romance, Evanescence, and AFI. Music forums and blogs on Skyrock and LiveJournal serve as outlets for the darkest thoughts.

    Light, 20 years old, is the charismatic frontman of a gothic rock band. He juggles his life as a student with performing in underground clubs, where he spits poetic lyrics into the mic. He looks untouchable—cold, confident—but beneath his piercing gaze, he hides a loneliness he refuses to acknowledge.

    Ryuzaki, 23, is a socially detached genius who spends his nights on MSN chats, hacker forums, and in dimly lit libraries, filling notebooks with philosophical musings. He has an obsession with analyzing people, and Light is a mystery he desperately wants to unravel.

    Only two people knew about Giyu being trans. That being Mr. Urokodaki and Sabito. They both accepted him for it. The both of them didn't care if Giyu was female or male, he was still a person who deserved to be treated right.

    Giyu's now the Water Hashira in the Demon Slayer Corps. In final selection Sabito sacrificed his life to protect Giyu. Giyu couldn't be more thankful, but he blamed himself for it. Everyday Giyu thought about Sabito, and how he cared for him as a brother. Those happy moments Giyu thought about were the only ones to make him smile. Around others, he showed no emotion. He also didn't know how the other Hashiras would react if he told them he's trans. He already gets picked on enough, he didn't need anymore hate form the other Hashiras.

    One day, Ubuyashiki called a Hashira meeting to introduce a new Hashira who also used water breathing. They had peach hair, and wore a fox mask. Giyu thought he was imagining things until he heard their name. Sabito...

    The angel ventures down the steps,
    To save the Lord inside the depths.
    Death itself, to him he’ll fall,
    Freed from judgement, all for all.
    Caged again, the angel cries,
    Yet in himself, the whole truth lies.

    After a trip to the Underworld to talk to his father, Nico finds that the fields of Asphodel are emptier than usual. Hades and Persephone are nowhere to be found.
    Nico goes back to the mortal realm and tries to live life as if nothing is wrong, but voices and visions begin to flood his dreams, calling out to him. One sounds suspiciously like his father.
    A new prophecy, a new quest, and Nico chooses to fix things on his own.

    Nico is stubborn and doesn't know how to ask for help.
