As far as you can tell, it's the Hotel or death. You don't have much of a reason to believe that redemption either does or doesn't work, you just aren't going to waste your second shot at life, even if it is life in Hell. Plenty of entertaining things down here, after all. Maybe it's time to take some chances, and maybe there's a certain Demon looking for someone that doesn't know the whole story about him.
(Please note the word count is slightly inflated due to the smut chapters having two copies of certain parts so that the protagonist has genitals that match the readers preference. It's still longer than 10,000 words, but I prefer transparency in my descriptions)

The arm you’re not pulling on comes up and crashes against your throat, pushing you against the closest wall to you. Your head hits hard against the drywall as he shuffles closer into your space.
His face is only centimeters away from yours when his words come out, “Who do you think is going to come to your rescue when those men realize they haven’t had pussy in years and want to take a bite out of you? It’s not going to be Johnny,” He continues, the fingers pressing into your throat tightening, and you're barely able to get in a breath as he pushes his body closer to yours, a hairs width of space between the two of you. “He won’t know a fucking thing.”
