Summary
Patrick shrugs with one shoulder. “I just―it’s a nice fantasy. I thought you might like to play with it.”
“And the fantasy is . . . ?” David lets his hands roam over Patrick’s sides and back, stroking slowly.
“Hot, repressed gay guy comes into the store,” Patrick says, beginning the scene.

Summary
“Well I’m going to run some errands,” David says, brushing a stray bit of fuzz off his navy blue sweater. “But we’re still on for birthday dinner?”
“Yeah,” Patrick nods. He’s pretty sure David knows the annual birthday surprise party stopped being a surprise after year two or three. David doesn’t even inflict fictional catastrophes on the café as a decoy anymore. But Patrick plays along anyway. In some ways their whole partnership is built on playing along.
OR David and Patrick have been business partners for a decade until, on Patrick's 40th Birthday, everything changes.

Summary
‘David knew exactly how attractive he was – it was his personality that was forever letting him down. But Patrick…Patrick honestly seemed to have no idea how that spoon in his mouth felt like sex to David, how the bright arc of his smile cut the world open. Or had it cut David open? Either way, it made David feel painfully awake.
Patrick continued to watch David, and the quality of his smile changed.
Okay, so maybe he knew.’
David and Patrick eat a lot of ice cream.

Summary
“Do you wear a lot of blue?” she asks. Cindy, her name tag says.
She hands Patrick a pair of dark gray wire-frame glasses which he slides on until they hook behind his ears. And it’s not like—well everyone who knows him knows he likes blue. But he feels a little unsettled that this stranger picks up on it, like at she can see his whole life contained within the frames around his eyes.
“Uh, yeah. I guess so,” Patrick says, taking them off again. This pair, like all the others she has given him, is exactly right and completely wrong.
Or, Patrick gets glasses and thinks about identity. David helps.

I Die A Little Death: The Ballad of Bobbie and Stevie by BiblioPan

Summary
After Cabaret, Stevie would like to improve her physical fitness through hiking. She finds assistance with this (and other activities) from an unlikely source: Bobbie Draper, recent arrival in Schitt’s Creek from the 24th century and the Mars colony.
Story set in mid 2019 Schitt’s Creek, ON Canada. Knowledge of The Expanse is helpful but unnecessary! Explicit sexual content arrives midway through the story. 😏
Sections will alternate between each woman’s POV.
Story complete and new chapters will be added every few days. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I loved writing it! 💗

Summary
”He remembers Patrick’s crooked smile when David would play along with his jokes, tease him back. He remembers the electricity simmering in the store, and the butterflies in his stomach, and the way they were both trying so hard, tiptoeing around this thing they wanted so badly, but also didn’t want to break. Even though they eventually did break, it still makes him feel warm and soft to think of, and he thinks maybe these memories will just slowly become a part of him, coalesce into a solid, unnegotiable reminder that there are good people out there. People who will treat him with kindness and make him laugh and cry when they break up with him because it hurts them too.”
Or, David and Patrick break up, learn to be business partners, date other people, learn to be friends, grow up, and get back together.
