North scoffed. “Watch out. Here he comes.”
“Right on schedule,” Josh agreed. And it was true - Simon had seen Richard Stern’s bright red car pull up in the corner of his eye just a second ago. That whole family worked like clockwork, it seemed.
Markus’s arm tensed. “Just leave him alone and he won’t bother us…what the hell?”
Simon looked up and followed Markus’s gaze to the front doors of the school, where Connor Stern himself was standing. He looked terrible; his normally wrinkle-free uniform was rumpled, his hall monitor sash that he usually wore so proudly was missing, and it was obvious that he had tried to fix his hair, but it still hung more in his face than it had that morning.
And, of course, there was the black eye and split lip.

Summary
The line between human and android resembled a wall more than anything else. Markus’ stance on Connor was undefined. He was aware that The Deviant Hunter couldn’t be trusted, of course. He’d been informed by Josh prior to his speech that Connor had almost pulled a gun on him, only to put it away shortly after. This was a topic of controversy within the android community and they had yet to reach an explanation, all of them only being able to agree that Connor was someone you should tread lightly around. However, that was implying that anyone would actually see him after the speech.
After the speech, Connor seemed to have disappeared from the face of the Earth. He didn’t respond to the press about his Cyberlife tower infiltration, he didn’t interact with Jericho whatsoever, and he was generally feared by the android community.
This is why he didn’t expect to find said Deviant Hunter in a Halloween shop when he went out with Josh. He was repeatedly activating a cackling animatronic witch holding a fake cat over a cauldron. Connor was snorting out laughter along with an unknown human with gray hair as if it was the funniest thing in the world. Amidst the Deviant Hunter’s giggling, the android was heard saying something along the lines of “big ass mood”, whatever that meant.

The silence Hank got in response pushed a new theory to the forefront.
"Can you even talk?"
Brown eyes snapped towards Hank. The android’s face twitched, momentarily, before smoothing into something more neutral.
Hank gawked at the passenger in disbelief. "You seriously can’t speak."
It shook its head, a couple of tiny jerks, before fixing its eyes back towards the dash.
Jesus fuck, that was useless. Of all things, why would CyberLife send in a broken android to assist with this case? And why did Hank, of all people, have to be the one to deal with it?- Language:

Summary
- Connor was fully aware that Hank held a record for the number of disciplinary warnings. He had to constantly remind the other to not perform any actions that would grant him /another/ bullet point in his novel of warnings. Yet, as Gavin and Hank screamed at each other in the middle of the room, Connor found himself going against his usual policy.
He stepped closer to Gavin, and he felt his eye twitch violently.
Connor had an extreme disliking towards /anyone/ that threatened violence on his partner.
A hatred... that definitely gets a little violent.
(Hank and Gavin get into an argument. 'Violence is not the answer' gets thrown out the window.)

There were certain moments in a man's life when it seemed like he couldn't possibly hit anything lower than rock bottom. Then Hank found fucking bedrock.
Hank Anderson stumbled out of his cab, squinting at the obnoxiously bright neon sign overhead casting its pink, soft glow over the wet pavement. He didn't know the specifics of how he arrived here, but he must have called a cab and decided that he didn't want to go home but he wanted to go somewhere. Usually that meant finding another bar, but tonight the alcohol just wasn't enough. Booze could numb him, sure, but it couldn't do anything about the gnawing loneliness. Hank hadn't had anyone in his bed since- well. For a while, anyway. Jerking it in the shower before dragging himself to work every day only did so much.
(i.e. in which Hank Anderson tries to have sex with an android at the Eden Club, and it goes precisely not at all the way he expected.)

After Markus obtains equal rights for all Androids, Cyberlife is pressured to release all the prototype androids deemed unready for public use before the Revolution. In a diplomatic effort, Cyberlife offers all prototypes a chance of a paid job in the sector they were intended to work in or otherwise, in order to not waste the money gone into programming their specific skillsets. Among them is Connor, an RK Prototype, who is offered a training period at the Detroit Police Department under the condition that he reports his progress via email to the man assigned to be his mentor. A man that Connor has never met, who will never reply, and who will remain anonymous for the duration of his training; bar the pseudonym "Lt. H."
A man that, having only ever seen his shadow in a hallway, Connor affectionally names after the Pholcidae spider, more commonly known as Daddy Long Legs.Lieutenant Hank Anderson just wanted to get Fowler off his ass and deal with this mentoring crap as quickly and easily as possible. Instead, he has to deal with an android calling him "Daddy" in every email he sends. It's not what he wanted or expected, but it somehow ends well.

“It’s a little goofy looking.” The customer crossed his arms. RK800 frowned. The customer chuckled in surprise.
“I think it looks cool!” For the first time, RK800 noticed a young boy with the customer. The boy stepped forward and placed his hands on the android’s feet and looked up at him. “Can we get it, Dad?”
“I just have to know –-can you take care of my son? That’s all I need. Someone to cook his meals when I can’t, homework, bath, and stuff like that. Can you do that?”
“Yes.” RK800 nodded.
“Then we’ll take it.”
The young boy grabbed RK800’s hand and pulled him after his father and the salesman. RK800 stopped to step down from his display case and follow. The boy smiled up at him.
“Hello, Robot! My name’s Cole Anderson.”
“Hello, Cole.” RK800 smiled. “My name is Connor.”

Hank just wanted help around the house for Cole. He never expected such a goofy thing that laughed and hummed and protected Cole with all of his being. Connor is not like other androids --but neither of them truly know how deep those differences go.
