Summary
V found herself on the roof, with Johnny sitting by her side. Their gaze was fixated on the luminescent glow of the Secure Your Soul advertisement in the towering building before them.
"So, what will it be?" Johnny's voice broke the silence. After everything they went through, V was able to notice the small jitters of anxiousness as he waited for her decision.
But V doesn't remember the answer she gave. Instead, she found herself jolted awake in her former apartemnt - her very old apartment, one she had while working for Arasaka's counterintelligence.
Was it all just a dream? A warning? An opportunity?

It's sort of "time-travel" I guess (??). I wanted to play with the idea of fixing shit to get a happier ending for our V.

Summary
Lucanis Dellamorte, the Demon of Vyrantium, isn't perfect, despite what others may think. Neither is Rook, and they're both smitten without admitting they're smitten. Spite, however, knows and accepts this, and keeps pushing Lucanis to the edge, begging him to unleash his inner demon. Lucanis isn't quite willing... yet.
Rook is merely trying to juggle a million responsibilities thrust onto her, but keeps finding herself distracted by the brooding Antivan Assassin, and his obsessive demon, Spite.
With the elven gods on the rise and disaster appearing left and right, they slowly start to discover who they are, and what they mean to each other. This is a story meant to fill in the gaps for Lucanis (and other companions) that we, as players, did not get to see.

Lucanis’s eyes slid over the corpses with an outward coolness, but the way his fists clenched and how his jaw ground betrayed the fury curdled inside him. “Very few survive Calivan’s ‘rehabilitation.’”
“You did,” Rook answered gently, though her gaze had already snagged on the central table. A sound – a rasping, fragile moan – came from the figure chained there.
The elf before her barely resembled one. His face was a swollen ruin, blood and grime matting what remained of his hair. Both ears had been crudely clipped down to rounded nubs, skin around them raw and jagged. His vallaslin tattoos had been flayed away, carved from his flesh with such deliberate cruelty that only scar tissue remained. His ribs jutted sharp through torn skin, chest heaving with the shallow panic of breath. Shackles bent his arms backward at an angle meant to break joints. His legs ended in blackened stumps at the knees, cauterized in ugly burns.This is a rewrite (kinda) of Veilguard with added scenes and more NPC interactions as well as a deeper look into Lucanis, Rook, and Spite's relationship (I've updated the first few chapters)

He was more than surprised when she and Neve had turned up to assist him in a prison break. The more time he had spent with her, the more she continued to surprise him. And now months later he often found his thoughts drifting to her, even as he sat alone on his cot in the pantry.

A re-telling/writing of events from The Veilguard following the budding romance of the famed mage-killer and Demon of Vyrantium, Lucanis Dellamorte and Amelie de Riva, a formerly disgraced Crow and Thedas' newest reluctant leader and hero.
MASSIVE SPOILERS for The Veilguard as a whole, particularly Lucanis' quest, backstory and romance. The story will be focusing on events from the game including companion, side, and faction quests.

Zelena de Riva took the contract to help Varric hunt Solas as a way to return to Viago's good graces after the Antaam debacle. She didn't plan on being in charge of saving the world. She also didn't plan on Lucanis Dellamorte.
Good thing improvisation had always been her greatest strength - and that the family she left behind in Antiva had no intention of leaving her to save the world alone.

Summary
Rook survived the Kirkwall Circle. She survived Crow training. She even survived a meeting with the Dread Wolf. But, she's starting to wonder if her sanity will survive the Demon of Vyrantium.
Before Spite, before the Antaam, before his "death" and her defiance, Lucanis and Rook had history together. No, not that kind of history, for all that Rook had wished for it. They were colleagues, and on their better days Rook would have even called them friends. Never mind that she had fallen for him from their first mission together; never mind that she was the one mage he trusted to have his back; never mind that she'd saved his life once already and he'd owed her a debt long before the Ossuary. They'd left too many things unsaid, and what words were spoken before it all fell apart had been shouted in anger.
Now it's the end of the world, and with it, a second chance. But a demon, a Blight, and three Elven gods stand in their way, and the odds for anything good are stacked against them. How fortunate then, that a Rook can rise above anything, and a Crow's stubbornness can spite the gods themselves.
It's just getting out of their own way that's the real problem.

It was so quiet here without his voice. She could almost imagine him now, lighting another damn cigarette as he told her “get the fuck up you lazy asshole, we gotta delta NOW”. But none of that came. There was no cigarette smoke ghosting around his figure in the corner of the room as she tried not to glance in his direction. No deep voice ringing out to comment on what was happening or what they should be doing. He was gone. And it hurt.
When V wakes up after Mikoshi, she isn't given a choice. Leave Night City or risk getting caught by Arasaka in the fallout of her attack on the Corp. After a year of borrowed time, she's dragged back to Night City with one goal in mind. Bring down the Save Your Soul project for good, and let Arasaka burn.

Takemura’s eyes lock to Johnny, filled with hate, grief and anger spilling from every pore of his body as he hisses through his teeth. “What makes you think that I would even consider helping you?” He asks. “Either of you? V betrayed me, and you led her to that ruin--”
“V made her own mind up, old man,” he snaps, pushing harder.
“You are older than me."

Johnny has found himself in V's body, and being stubborn as a mule, decides to fuck around and fix things with the help of those she helped during their time together. It's going to take a village to raise a legend from beyond the Blackwall -- and that includes Takemura.
As for V -- she's found herself... somewhere. And while she doesn't remember how she got here, she knows something's wrong. She's meant to be... somewhere else. She's meant to be with someone. She can't remember, though. Why can't she remember?

Summary
Life after Johnny was meant to be a pipe dream, but turns out it’s a nightmare.
V and Johnny had entered Mikoshi alone, with the intention of only one of them returning. But life had other plans. Rogue’s guilty conscience and Spider Murphy’s meddling managed to grow Johnny a new body, but seemingly at the expense of his memories. Back in realspace but with no recollection of his time an an engram, Johnny Silverhand just can’t believe that he ever managed to coexist in the head for a Corpo drone like V, let alone be friends with her. No matter, his life was his own again and the 2070s didn’t know what was about to hit it.
As for V? The guy she was willing to give her life for suddenly, once again, hates her guts, and though she’s gained a new lease on life, finding a reason to live it might just be difficult.
But as V makes her peace with losing the Johnny she’d come to love, the rockerboy finds himself haunted by emptiness and the distinct feeling that something is missing. Night City was no paradise, but for two souls who ought to have been in the afterlife, it can get a little messy in heaven…
