Summary
A drabble series for meepfur‘s #MarchoftheTropes. Different ratings for different chapters. Tags are subject to change.
[ interrupted ] Rated E / 2.6k words
He resumes his leisurely journey down the soft plane of her stomach, his lips finding the waistband of her smalls. His hands follow just after—sliding along the smooth curves of her torso, his touch feather-light, palms coming to rest on the juts of her hips. He glances up to find her watching him, hooded eyes dark and one corner of her mouth curled just slightly upward. He mirrors it with a smirk of his own.
“It would be my sincerest honor and pleasure,” he says, settling between her thighs, coaxing them apart and thrilling at the way she sighs happily, “to make you come apart on my tongue.”

~*Endwalker 6.0 Spoilers*~
Things in Elpis shape up a little differently. Emet-Selch and Hythlodaeus don't stay overnight in Elpis, and not willing to leave this strange new creature with a familiar soul to her own devices they take her home. Now she continues her investigation into the cause of the Final Days.
This is purely self-indulgent on my end.

Summary
“I, for one,” Hythlodaeus said, lifting an observational finger, “wouldn’t mind a little more life, with mine being so prematurely cut short.”
Emet-Selch’s peaceful expression soured. “You can’t be serious,” he said with a huffy cross of his arms.
“The star shall surely be saved, and I owe absolutely nothing more to Zodiark.” Hythlodaeus said, his smile the practiced placating curve that D’fhiri had grown so familiar with in Elpis. “And while you have had many lifetimes to explore, I would like my own chance to see the world our dear friend loves so much.”
Post-Endwalker Fix-It, in which Hades and Hythlodaeus choose to stay.
When the Warrior of Light, D'fhiri Jinh, convinces the two men bound to her soul to linger with her in the world of the living for a little while longer, her joy is palpable to those she loves. Her established partner, G'raha, is suspicious and protective, while Emet-Selch and Hythlodaeus explore how they might fit in to her life in a more practical way. What does it mean to suffer to live, and to choose a beginning rather than an end, all for the sake of love long lost and rediscovered anew?

Summary
Her breath caught in her chest as slowly he walked towards her, eyes hypnotic as they gazed into hers. Her hands were pressed hard against her mouth, trying to staunch the blood and prevent her from screaming all at once. But as he drew ever closer to her, she found it wasn't fear that she felt from him. It was awe. This man, this immortal, had saved her from what would have likely been her second and last capture and subsequent imprisonment in Zodiark. She couldn't understand it. It made no sense. He could have easily dispatched these two trappers and latched himself upon her neck where the scales did not protect her, taking his fill of her blood until he was sated. Instead, slowly, as if concerned he would frighten her, her raised his hands ilm by ilm until they were touching her wrists, wrapping like manacles around them, and delicately pulled them away from her face to expose the macabre scene to his eyes.

Summary
This entire story contains heavy Endwalker 6.0 / MSQ 86-87 / Zone 5 Spoilers! If you have not yet progressed this far, please do not read. It is worth it to be surprised by the game, trust me!
A multi-chapter follow up on my A Familiar Presence one-shot. This one does include my named OC/Warrior of Light and is definitely more indulgent. The previous work is not a requirement but does provide a bit more content for this one.
Preview Snippet:
“You will do no such thing! Convenient though it may be, transforming in the presence of others is considered vainglorious in the extreme. As uncouth and unseemly as running around robeless. Shameful.”That had Aeliana whipping her head around to stare at him, dumb-founded and wide-eyed. “Since when?!” she blurted out before having the sense to keep her mouth shut.
“Since always.” Emet-Selch narrowed an eye and judged her expression to be that of a child caught in an act of mischief. “Unless you know something that makes you believe otherwise?”
By the Twelve, she would have been better off playing the mute.

Summary
You weren't sure what Hydaelyn was thinking, urging you to save Emet-Selch, but nobody was happy about it. Not the Scions, who were waiting for him to slip up, giving them an excuse to kill him. Not the Exarch, who despite his kind words and patient smiles had endured something during his time with the Asican. And definitely not Emet-Selch, who finds his entire worldview challenged by Hydaelyn's interference.
But despite everything, you made your bed, and now you have to lie in it. And Emet-Selch appears to be determined to make you regret every moment of it.

Summary
For a fleeting moment you see the age in his eyes, tender and nostalgic as though he were the old man he once claimed to be, looking back upon misplaced yet beloved photographs of times long past.
G'raha turns his arm to regard the arcane eye painted there. The deep hue is stark against the azure of his body. "I shall wash them off in the morning, but for now I enjoy being able to see my old markings again."
"You seem more upset than anything," you counter cautiously, the unspoken question evident in your voice.
"’Tis difficult to put into words. Memory is not always without mourning, and mourning is not always an act of grief." G'raha looks down into his tea, tracing a crystal finger along the curve of the ceramic mug. The faint scratching sound it makes is nearly deafening. "Tis good to remember how it felt to fly before I clipped my wings."

Summary
He came, twisting out of the shadows like a snake out of a burrow long since ignored. She should have known, it should have occurred to her that he would corner her when she was as alone as she could be, staring out at the night sky as if it would provide relief for the low heat settled in her belly. That he would come to claim her when her guard was down the most, when she was at her most vulnerable.
After all, insult was not a color Emet-Selch wore well.

Summary
After your battle at the end of the universe, you refuse to let Zenos die. Unsurprisingly, he refuses to let you die either.
(Zenos is the one to ferry you home rather than a teleporter. Everyone believes you both to be dead amongst the stars. Both completely emotionally fucked up, you decide to ignore your problems together rather than return to your old lives. It's gonna be fine, assuming no one ever finds out)
