Pin was not supposed to win The Power of Two. She wasn't even supposed to remain in the game after a certain point. It's been eight months since the incident that rendered her unconscious shortly after this victory, so her memory is scattered, but she's sure the world wasn't always so...gruesome, and unforgiving. It is beyond the shades of the willow trees, at least.
As she awakens, the axe to forge new hope for tomorrow is placed in her hands. They feel so much heavier than before.

It becomes difficult to maintain their friendship soundly while wondering what version of Pin he's truly accustomed to. Or what version of her he "likes".Follows directly after the events of TPOT 2. An imagining of that "talk later" Pin proposed within the same episode that we frustratingly never got to see.
