Summary
Merlin has fulfilled his destiny. Albion is united and magic is restored to the land- but nothing in the prophecies had mentioned what to do afterward. Merlin's old roles are suddenly filled by people more competent than him, and there is no need for him any longer.

Summary
Word of many sightings had reached the ears of red-cloaked knights on patrol. A tentacled man, the village inhabitants would say, a docile thing. With dark hair and midnight appendages and eyes that shone brilliant as the sun.
He would rarely come on shore, and when he did it was in the dark cover of night—few had seen him take human form, but those who had could only watch as he snuck crops from their gardens and grew more with sorcery to replace their absence after. Then, he would disappear, presumably to his lake where he would dine on his stolen goods.
The first time Arthur met him, was one of these evenings.
Or
There have been sightings of a magical creature-man in the river near a village at the edge of Camelot. Arthur was sent by his father to investigate and eliminate the magical threat.
Instead of a beast, though, he meets Merlin--a seemingly ordinary, if not extraordinarily beautiful, man who's able to change forms when in and out of water.

Summary
You'd think having magic would be a big enough reason not to come to Camelot, but it's not even Merlin's biggest concern. Hell, it's maybe fourth or fifth on the priority list. He's got that Destiny crap to worry about, Kilgarrah, the fact that his life is a lie, the fact that he's not human, the fact that no one can know, and the fact that besides him being a creature OF magic, he is somehow also magic itself. You know, because his life wasn't difficult enough already.
Between keeping himself secret, safe, and saving Arthur's royal human behind, really having magic doesn't register that high on Merlin's problems.

Everything's the same except Merlin's got the H2O mermaid thing going on. He touches water, boom, tail. The moon is also a problem.Series

Summary
Everyone knows it’s a manservant’s duty to look after his master’s manhood. Everyone except Merlin that is. Which makes for a very awkward and embarrassing series of attempts, and an angry, sexually frustrated prince... Well, you know what they say, practice makes perfect!
“I can’t do it! I can’t work for that arrogant prat! He is impossible! You won’t believe what he just asked me to do!” He shook his head fiercely, his cheeks heating up again.
“What did he ask?” Gaius asked.
Merlin made an embarrassed squeaky groan. He could feel his face burning. “He asked me to…” He stopped pacing and took a deep breath. “Rub his sword!”
Gaius lifted one eyebrow, it arched perfectly over his right eye. “Yes, you have to look after his weapons-”
“No, Gaius, not that sword, not the one he fights with…” Merlin put his hands in his hair, tugging it in frustration. “His… morning… glory…” He gestured at his own crotch.
“Oh!” Gaius waved a hand in understanding. “Yes. Of course he did.”
“What do you mean, of course he did?” Merlin’s voice sounded a little shrill now.
“That’s one of a manservant’s duties,” Gaius explained.- Language:
