Summary
When Jaune was four years old, his family went on a trip to Mistral where they met the Branwen Tribe and everyone except Jaune perished. He then spent two weeks hiding in the wilderness before Qrow found him while on the hunt for his sister, eventually taking it upon himself to become Jaune's guardian.
But the truth of who was responsible for the death of Jaune's family couldn't stay hidden forever and when he finally learns about Raven Branwen, Jaune makes his way to the only place he believes he can find answers. The only place where he can gain the skills and the means to track down the Branwen Tribe's leader and finally put the past to rest, one way or another.
Jaune heads to Beacon Academy.

Izuku Midoriya dies without fanfare at the hands of the Sludge Villain, his shattered dreams of Heroism dying along with him.
The police declare him missing two days later, only to uncover footage showing his body leaving the city.
His mother loses hope three days after that, the discovery of the Sludge Villain's M.O. all but confirming his fate.
And then, approximately one week after Izuku's disappearance, his mother answers the door in the middle of the night to find him standing there without so much as a scratch.
