The rain patters on Tommy’s hair, his shoulders, the ground. It touches the man but doesn’t seem to sink in. His clothes look no more than damp when they should be soaking. Tommy should know; his shirt is plastered to him. He wouldn’t be surprised if it was see-through.
Tommy blinks. The man asked him a question. He nods again, not quite trusting his voice. The man seems nice, so Tommy takes a step forward.
The man smiles. It… something is wrong, but Tommy can’t put his finger on it. “Thank you. I’m looking for someone.” The man tilts his head, and something gleams in his brown eyes. With the motion, a strand of wavy hair falls forward, but it all seems so perfect. The man is perfect.

Silly how I feel-
“Could you promise me something?” Tommy looks at him, tears in his eyes as his mouth pulls into something desperate, hoping.
“What do you want me to promise?”
“Will you protect me?” Techno barely has time to say anything before Tommy rapidly continues, “I–I know I suck at boxing a–and I can’t focus when you try to teach me things, but there’s so many bad people in the world and–”
Tommy takes a deep steadying breath, air wavering as it’s released. “Please, promise me you’ll protect me.”
And what is Techno supposed to say? This feels like trust, hope, and begging and he doesn’t know what to tell the kid. He doesn’t want to make a promise he can’t keep, but he knows he won’t break it either. If the situation presented itself, he’d give Tommy everything without a second thought. “I’ll protect you.” He can’t seem to regret saying it.
“Promise?”
“Promise.”

Like I-i I lowkey hoped for a better ending but like
After all this we only get we thing of them both realizing who they really are
Don’t get me wrong holy moly I really loved this fic it was amazing ALREDAY actually it had all of my favorite things in it
It’s just that I wish we got a better “reunion” with Tommy and tech ykwim like after all this we get a paragraph of them connecting of pas life
I feel like I’m being mean even tho I’m not I’m just stating things

Is the ending what I wanted it to be…..no not really but its doesn’t mean that I didn’t enjoy it

Tommy giggles, prancing down the hallway. Phil, or Mr. Watson, 's classroom is only a few rooms down, so he doesn't have far to walk.
"Mr. Minecraft!" He calls, opening the door. Phil sighs, hanging his head before looking up and smiling for a second. "Heya mate, how are you?" Phil asks, putting down the pen he's holding. "Well, I was bothering Wilbur, so I feel great." He answers, finally closing the door and waltzing further into the room. He slinks over to the couch that Phil has, dropping down onto it.
"Ah, of course." Phil nods, smiling again when Tommy picks up a rubix cube from the box of fidget toys.
The door opens again, and Techno pokes his head into the room. "Hullo." Techno greets, stepping fully into the room, closing the door behind himself and leaning against the wall beside it. "Blade! What is your opinion on arson?"
Or; Wilbur is Tommy's father, Phil and Techno don't know this at first.
