Summary
Billy tilts his head to the side like a confused puppy and furrows his eyebrows. His palm is white-hot through the thin material of Steve’s black shirt as Billy spreads his hand over the omega’s left pectoral, directly atop his racing heart. “Steve.”
The alpha points to himself and then raises those same eyebrows expectantly. Steve huffs out a quiet laugh and relaxes a bit. “I get it, I get it. You’re Billy and I’m Steve.”
This answer gets him a viciously happy growl and a smile bright enough to shame the sun. Steve can’t help but giggle again, this time incredulously.
“What kind of Miles O’Keeffe bullshit are you trying to pull here, jungle boy? Have you never heard of, like, normal pickup lines? You know, what’s an omega like you doing sobbing all alone on Halloween? How’s it going baby, nice ass?”

Summary
Recovery time after a severe chest injury is roughly eight weeks, recovery time for third degree burns can be up to a couple of years. That’s what the doctor’s had told him when he’d complained about still being in so much pain two weeks after the Starcourt incident. Billy had been discharged from the hospital with these injuries after three weeks of inpatient care to ‘convalesce at home’, which was difficult considering that he no longer had a real home.

Summary
hanahaki disease, noun, origin Japanese (from the words hana, meaning “flower” and hakimasu, meaning “to throw up”): a disease in which the victim coughs up flower petals when they suffer from unrequited love. It ends when the object of their love returns their feelings, or when the victim dies. The disease can be cured through surgical removal, but when the infection is removed, the victim’s romantic feelings will also disappear.
The first time it happened, Billy thought he was having some kind of asthma attack, not that he was enough of a loser to be carrying around an inhaler and wheezing around during phys-ed or basketball practice, but his chest hurt.

-"You really wanna be friends with me?" Billy asks, feeling stupid and full of butterflies. Feels like he's a damn ten year old.
"Everybody needs friends, man," Harrington says, so easy. Like Billy didn't turn him to pulp. "I thought for a while there you might want to be...but then that night happened and. I don't know. Is it stupid? Am I being weird and stupid? Dustin would probably call me stupid, the little idiot."
That makes him laugh for some reason. "You gotta get older friends, Harrington."
"Well. Count this as me trying." And he laughs. Awkward.

They should stop. This wasn’t ethical. But they couldn’t seem to help it, or Billy couldn’t help it. Steve was just so flushed after concerts, high on endorphins and all over Billy. Billy wasn’t the one who pulled Steve in here brandishing fuzzy handcuffs.
Billy didn’t even start all of this. He couldn’t climb in his own lap after the Grammys, after all.
Billy usually wasn’t so stupid. But Steve made him feel that way, like Steve was singing a song in another language, playing a game a guy like Billy could never hope to win.

Steve couldn't deny the obvious any longer. "You're an omega," he said.
"Bingo." Billy huffed out a harsh laugh.

“Oh yeah?” Tony leaned back, grimacing as he stretched his back. He’d been stooped over his bench too long again. “I could use a break anyway. What flavor are we talking, here?”
The flavor system differentiated types of videos, and each flavor was sorted into a separate file folder for Tony’s review. Vanilla was, intentionally ironically, Stark Porn that happened to catch on one of Tony’s kinks. Strawberry was porn featuring a partner that fit Tony’s type, either in looks or demeanor. Chocolate featured a notable lookalike that played Tony well enough to meet his exacting standards. And so on and so forth.
