I know there already is a public workskin for Homestuck, but this one has a background function and a function for the larger command font.
Updated Apr 2024 to clarify some instructions (and also update them according to various layout changes) and to alter the CSS to use percentage widths instead of fixed widths (in order to improve the mobile reader's experience). The Courier New font seems to dislike certain mobile browsers, but I've yet to find a fix for it.

This is the first file Amy Rose wrote and compiled out of personal concerns during the long-awaited return of Sonic the Hedgehog, including her testimony as well as the lived experiences of other key figures in the Pandemic of these first two days.
This file attempts to support the findings from the Restoration's Preliminary Study on the psychological and neurological effects of victims of the Metal Virus, including but not limited to: dissociation, impaired cognitive functions (i.e. attention, memory, sensory perception), irritability, sleep disturbances, emotional detachment, and more.

Summary
It's the start of season 10 and it seems a certain knight has followed along as usual. Wels stopped taking Hels' threats of violence seriously a long time ago, but, meeting Hels for the first time, Beef realizes that perhaps the man he brought to their world with his failed cloning machine all those years ago might still be holding on to some resentment in relation to that event. Things get worse from there.
Or, in other words: Hels encounters Beef and is reminded of why exactly he's stuck on Hermitcraft in the first place. He decides to start taking his threats against the server more seriously when faced with the anger he felt all those years ago, and Beef is unfortunate enough to be the number one enemy on Hels' mind.

While this bars them from interacting with the uninfected outside of special circumstances, it allows them to use their powers to deliver mail across distances and locations that would be too dangerous for the uninfected to travel. Traveling, meanwhile, allows them to never stay in one place long enough for the feelings to catch up.
