All Tony knew was one second, he was upright, reaching his hand out to open the cabinet, and then Peter was screaming, barreling into him with enough force to send them both slamming into the wall and knocking the breath out of him completely.
A loud explosion rang through his ears and the roof of the building came crashing down over them. It rained a cloud of dust and debris so thick, Tony immediately started choking on it. Peter’s body was on top of his, shielding him from a majority of the falling debris, the kid’s hands were on top of Tony’s head, keeping him as covered as possible.

Because it was never that serious, never that impacting. But now that he could feel the phantom weight of the building crumbling over him, he knew it was worse.

Peter shrugged, something akin to shame filling him.
“Peter,” Mr Stark warned.
“I had a nightmare,” the boy whispered as he shuffled uncomfortably under the blankets. He wondered if Mr Stark would scoff and kick him out, telling the teen that he was too old to be suffering from nightmares.
But Mr Stark didn’t do any of what Peter feared. Instead, he stretched out a hand and ran his fingers through Peter’s curls, teasing the strands and undoing the knots. “You want to talk about it?”
Peter has a nightmare about Homecoming and Tony is there to help him through it.

“P-” Speaking made Peter’s throat burn, but he pushed himself, both figuratively and literally, but once again he couldn’t physically sit up with the older man stopping him, “Pe- Peter…”
“P’ter,” Peter could feel himself starting to fade again, he was so tired, why wasn’t this man letting him sleep? “P’rker.”

To the world, Peter Benjamin Parker died November 5th, 2011 in a fatal car accident when he was just 10 years old, along with his social worker, Samantha Lee Jane. The crash had quickly caused a fire–which was also the reason why Peter’s body was never found, only burnt pieces of his flesh in the debris.
Spider-Man, however, was very much alive.
Spider-Man also happened to be 14 year old Peter Parker–though, no one but HYDRA knew that.

After Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider, his senses where turned up to eleven.
In the suit Peter and Tony had placed in protocols to help him keep his senses at bay, but while being busy improving that they totally forget about Peter when his Peter Parker at school or around the city.
So one day in the middel of class things go wrong and Tony has to come pick of the kid.This story is written based on my own experiences with sensory problems. I'm autistic, so while my sensory problems would be this way, I know some people have it in a very different way. I tried to make it a "one size fit all" but it's hard when you have your own picture of what it's like. But, well... enjoy.
