He's had problems with depression before, but not recently. Still, he supposes, it was only a matter of time before the other shoe dropped. Life had been going too well lately. -

He had no reason to, but he believed this woman. Something was wrong here. She stood, clearly planning on leaving, and Reigen moved without thinking, grabbing her hand.
~Oh? Well… aren’t you a tasty looking soul.~ a voice hissed, sibilant despite the lack of physical sound.
Reigen froze, joints locking instinctively even as a shiver ran down his back. He could feel a new presence in the room, and he had a feeling he’d just massively screwed up somehow.OR: Reigen gets possessed by a spirit that devours souls, feeding off of misery. It goes about as well for Reigen as you'd expect. Which is to say, poorly.

Summary
It's been three years since Mob destroyed Seasoning City and Serizawa Katsuya has moved on to a new job in the city.
Reigen, now alone again, begins to spiral. He soon falls back on bad habits, but after a brutal attack by an evil spirit leaves him torn between a dream world and reality, he realises he needs help. As his dreams bleed into his waking life, he must learn to open up, or risk losing everything, including his mind.
Unfortunately, that means letting Serizawa see the side of Reigen he thought he'd done rather well to hide.

After an ambush at a routine colony check-in, Jim and Spock are trapped on an alien world with the Enterprise out of reach and a group of deadly mercenaries searching for them. In hiding, Jim and Spock finally have a conversation about the depth of their relationship and where it might go. As Spock describes the importance and history of t'hy'la, Jim realizes that there may already be such a connection between them. In the darkness and quiet, the captain is able to clearly sense his friend in a way he hadn't been able to before. And then he realizes it is because Spock has been gravely injured and his shields have slipped. Will they be able to hold on long enough for rescue or will Spock succumb to his wounds just as they each have discovered the truth between them?
